"I was not as impressed as other relatively recent reviewers. The staff was pleasant, but no one spoke English (actually not a problem for me). The decor was essentially non-existant. The cuisine was more ambitious than typical bistrot/restaurants of rural France with some hits (lamb in pastry shell) and some misses (dessert of strawberries and black olives in basilic cream- OK, I didn’t actually order this). It is very popular with the locals, so I may be in the minority here."
