"A really lovely place to meet up. Sitting in the reserved area with table service we were a party of 4 drinks only prior to going onwards for dinner for my Dads 78th Birthday. This is the second time we have done this and its shears a great start to the day. My Mum is quite select about where she will go and Champagne Central ticks all her boxes. Service is excellent, background noise just at right level, comfortable seating, kind and timely servers. The hotel in itself is iconic and the beautiful wooden inside is stunning. As you would imagine the drinks are pricey but it's everything you are paying for surroundings, service, furnishings etc overall a great family experience."

Disappointed Disappointed

Very poor service and food not great. Scones cold and hard. Tea served long before food

Had the full afternoon tea which was in general good but would have expected a bigger selection and more sandwiches etc for the price.

This was my second time here but a bit disappointed with the top tier of cakes as a bit mushy!! scones were very good and the service was excellent

Went for drinks only but felt the furnishings were tired and grubby. Arrived and waited for a while for someone to acknowledge us and our booking even though it was not very busy.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious and they also had a great selection of cakes and sandwiches for my vegan gluten-free friend. The service was excellent. I will definitely be bringing my mum here next time. 5 stars.

Service was terrible Ordered a bottle of Prosecco was given a different kind from what was stated on the menu and there was no explanation or conversation about it. Sat without drinks for a long period of time. Hard to get a waitress attention. Not impressed especially for the high cost

Afternoon tea in an iconic location of the Central hotel Glasgow. Afternoon tea was good only missing a hot savoury item which would have been good. Everything we had was nice and we had a cocktail and mocktail which we had to scan the QR code to see the drinks menu. Coffee and tea was unlimited.

Many options and a bit complicated. It was my first visit. Awful table at the end of seat when there were lots of better tables as the place was quiet. There was a cosy table in the corner and that looked much more comfortable but was occupied by 3 members of staff. Staff were nice, food good and interesting but so not ‘welcoming’ .

We were able to get our table earlier than our booking which was great as main bar area busy and bit of a wait to be served. We asked for cocktail recommendations and had 2 suggested however even though we had said nothing too bitter sour they were, we asked could we change them and that was done quickly without any issues. Didn't have food so hence low score.
