"today we were spontaneously in the house wedau to lunch. my wife took the day offer black medaillons with Swiss rösti and as an appetizer a cream soup. the suppe seemed homemade and delicious. we would have expected a little more from the hof, unfortunately we found ourselves about the black medaillons of our opinion after a endsauce and the Swiss rösti reminded us of a finished product we know from the subway. also the quantity was manageable with four pieces rösti relatiw. I decided for the hunter carving with pommes, as an appetizer there were fresh champignons filled with crabs and garlic sauce. the appetizer was generously dimensioned and really tasty, correspondingly was the joy of the main dish. Unfortunately, the carving goes so, thick and probably not roasted in butterschmalz. we are uncertain whether it wasn't even fried, as it had a very uniform browning. the yeast sauce also tasted like a finished product suffering here. the pommes were overhauled delicious. as always there was an salate of salatable to the main dishes. to see this in terms of choice, taste and freshness. only the leaf salad seems to have been a last mix for us. on the salatable there are also ketchup on which they can use. we were very disappointed when the content of the bottle heinz ketchup after our taste was no longer sufficient than another, much cheaper ketchup, which you know for example from snacksbuden. we suspect that the bottle was filled with another product. when I approached the waiter kindly, he only called the face and left what we did not expect. in general, the service staff today was very far away for our feelings and not very warm. because we found the situation with the ketchup and the reaction of the waiter when we talked to him, absolutely inappropriate, there are unfortunately only two stars. without this point we would forgive three stars."

"Wir waren als Paar an einem Sonntagabend hier. Den Tisch hatten wir vorbestellt. Hier stimmt alles Ambiente, Qualität und Service. Empfehlen kann ich auf jeden Fall Erde und Meer, Rumpsteak und Garnelen in Weißweinsoße. Es war Großartig. Da die Beilage ein Salat ist habe ich persönlich Fritten dazu bestellt und einen milden Weißwein. Die Fritten waren lang, dünn und auf den Punkt gebräunt. Der Weißwein, eine Empfehlung des Kellners, passte hervorragend zum Essen. Auch die Vorspeise, gebackener Camembert, war auf den Punkt. Für ein Dessert gibt es eine eigene Karte. Das Himbeertiramisu ist zwar dekonstruiert und sehr süß aber ebenfalls empfehlenswert. Ich habe zugegeben die Johannisbeeren, die mein Mann als Beilage zum Palatschinken hatte, dazu gegeben. Das hat die Süße reguliert. Meinem Mann gefiel es übrigens genauso wie es serviert wurde. Daher kein Kriterium sondern wohl Geschmackssache. Rundherum war es ein sehr gelungener Abend mit großartigem Essen und nettem, lustigen Personal. Klare Empfehlung in Duisburg!"

Zum Dessert gab es das Tahiti Schokoladendessert und den Tonkabohnen Käsekuchen. Als ein kleines Extra hat man Tic Tac erhalten in Form einer Probe-Portion. Alle Gerichte haben hervorragend geschmeckt. Die Zutaten sind sehr sorgfältig ausgesucht. So hat man Beispielsweise auf dem Roastbeef Sandwich karamellisierte Portwein Zwiebeln anstatt einfache Gemüse Zwiebeln, welche die Komposition des Gerichts sehr gut abrunden mit der süßen Note. Die Desserts sind fein abgeschmeckt, nicht zu süß. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Meiner Meinung nach ist ein halbes Sandwich eine sehr gute Mittagsmahlzeit und für den großen Hunger reicht die normale Größe vollkommen aus. Definitiv eine Küche von der sich andere Restaurants etwas abgucken sollten. Freue mich schon auf die nächsten Bestellungen. 5 von 5 Sternen Weiter so Black Bull Team!"
