"I had booked this restaurant for my 60th birthday and was excited to have a steak. Unfortunately, there was an issue and they were out of steak. I decided to try another dish and it turned out to be really delicious. The food at this restaurant is wonderful. The only drawback was the service - we had to wait a long time for our food and were only asked once if we wanted drinks."

Warm and friendly welcome. Food and drink quality was excellent. Large, noisy party meant the staff were spending most of their time keeping them topped up with food and drink. That meant we felt a bit ignored and struggled to get the attention of staff.

We had an OK experience but found the meat on the Sunday Roast substandard. The portion was very sparse and the beef tough. To make matters worse when mentioning to the waiter regarding the left over beef his comment was 'I know when we have it in the staff room it 's the same '
