"This has been at or near the top of my to go to list for a couple of years now so I jumped at an unexpected opportunity to go yesterday. Sometimes you’re left disappointed when you have high expectations but we were blown away! We arrived without a reservation and my heart sank when I saw how busy they were but they managed to find a great table for two for us by the window. The space is gorgeous, the atmosphere on a lovely Thursday evening was happy, relaxed and informal. Service was amongst the best I’ve ever experienced, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The grilled sourdough with bone marrow was a revelation, so good we nearly ordered a second one! Our main of 500g of smoked lamb shoulder between 2 people was sublime, genuinely the best lamb I’ve ever tasted. My dining partner agreed, the sides of bone marrow mash and grilled Savoy cabbage with wild garlic butter were perfect accompaniments. We were too full for desserts. The beer brewed on the premises was also good and for me, a proud Yorkshireman to say that about Southern beer is very unusual! At just under £80 for two people including drinks and service I thought it was very good value. I cannot wait to go back!"

The meat was fantastic, but the noise level was excessively high. We sampled both the pork and brisket, and we truly enjoyed both. The meat is cooked to perfection. However, all the dishes, including the shrimp, were quite salty. Additionally, the restaurant was really loud, making it difficult to have a meaningful conversation during our meal.

This restaurant offers fantastic food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. It's a great choice for meat lovers, but those who prefer vegetarian or vegan options might find it lacking. It used to be featured on the CODE app every Tuesday, but it seems the promotion has been discontinued, which is quite disappointing. Overall, I highly recommend it!

I have a late 9 o'clock reservation here. sown them immediately and greeted the table. After I had seen a video of the place of eater, it was my main intention to try the bone marrow mash and mangalitza pork that both had on the day (they change their menu daily based on what is fresh, so call and ask.) eating has not disappointed at all. good selection of drinks. special mention for the grilled lamb denver and smoke cod roe with carrots.

To book the restaurant I had to give out my person data to a third party system called Resy which is not ideal. Otherwise booking is simple and they confirm by text. They hare their own brewery on site and we started by trying some of the beers of which they have a variety of a few. The decor was nice but it can get quite noisy in this place. The service was very good and friendly, and the staff were very knowledgable about the food. The food itself was great. View menu

This place is fantastic! I was a bit hesitant to go for an early dinner by myself, but the staff was warm and friendly. The waitress was great with her recommendations for drinks and food, and everything was just amazing. The pork was incredibly tender, and the balance of fat to meat was just right—such a delightful combination of textures and flavors that was truly satisfying. The bone marrow mash was dreamy, smooth, buttery, and absolutely delicious. I had to restrain myself from going back for seconds!

Went as a pair on a Wednesday night without a reservation, had no problem being seated for dinner. Portion sizes of the table plates do vary but the best policy is to buy 2 3 and share as starters. Sticky BBQ ribs were great but the star was the piqant Bavarian sausage and sauerkraut. Our half kilo steak was cooked fairly rare but flavoured to perfection and went excellently with the mash and one of their locally brewed beers. Roughly £60 a head including service (our waiter could not have done more for us) well worth it for an upmarket meal.

My favourite place in London right now! I've been half a dozen times and it's been consistently fantastic. This is technically barbecue food cheaper cuts smoked low and slow until meltingly tender but it skirts tired BBQ staples. No pulled pork, no brisket covered in too sweet orange sauce. Instead, you get an unfussy and constantly changing menu that invites you to come back. Best things on the menu, IMO: house bacon, amazing Mangolitsa pork chops, bone marrow mashed potatoes, green chilli coleslaw, bourbon cola pudding, but best of all: the smoked, cured pork jowl. It's the tastiest bacon I've ever had. It's powerful good. We once ordered an extra portion as a side because it's so good. (W... View menu
