"Armed with a gift voucher for this Greek restaurant we booked a few days earlier for a table for our party of 4 adults, a teenager and 2 year old. On arrival and difficult maneuvering in the small, free car park we were warmly greeted and seated at a nice table for 6. A child's high chair arrived a little later. The drinks order was taken quickly. The adults also received a welcome free glass of ouzo which was a nice touch. The menu is extensive, authentically Greek and the prices are all reasonable. I chose the sardines (actually small fried fish on a bed of salad) followed by the lamb shank cooked with large broad beans. This came straight out of the oven and was piping hot. It was served with a salad. The other members of our family party also enjoyed their food - particularly the thin cut fried potatoes which were crunchy on the outside and still soft on the inside.Throughout our meal our two year old got increasingly restless and wanted to explore the place a bit. Typical of the Greek culture we learned to love when we lived in Athens, the staff took to her as if she was one of their family and helped to keep her entertained. We passed on the desserts as we were all too full after the main courses. At the end of the evening we all agreed that the food and Greek atmosphere here is really lovely. What we missed a bit was the proactive service from the waiters - we would have liked to have been asked whether we wanted more to drink throughout the meal and whether we would like dessert or after dinner coffee..."

"Für ein mediterranes Essen würde ich kein anderes Restaurant empfehle und sogar die Pizza ist hier hervorragend. Dir aber nur zur Vorspeise da der Octopus oder Thunfisch hier so hervorragend zubereitet werden, dass man es sich nicht entgehen lassen kann. Die Bedienung ist stets extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Und Wünsche werden schnell erledigt auch wenn das Restaurant mal zu voll ist."

"Wir hatten eine Gans zu viert. Die Gans war etwas trocken, ok, aber keine Glanzleistung. Die Klöße sind ein Fertigprodukt. Verpackung konnte man in der Küche sehen. Die Soße war sehr dick gebunden und schmeckte nicht selbst gemacht. Beim Rotkohl das gleiche. Maronen gab es keine dazu. Das Essen im Ganzen war eine Enttäuschung, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, wie teuer es ist. Ganz im Ernst, das bekomme ich (außer die Gans) zu Hause besser hin, für Fertigprodukte muss ich nicht essen gehen. Der Service war unterstes Niveau. Kein freundlicher Ton, keine Nachfrage, möchten sie noch etwas trinken. Beim Nachschlag von Klößen und Soße haben wir 30 min. gewartet. Am Nachbartisch das gleiche. Die hatten zusätzlich noch Kartoffeln, die wohl noch hart waren, auch nach dem 2. Versuch. Dann wird man angepammt, wenn man mal fragt, wo die Sachen bleiben. Man merkt das die Kellnerin so gar keinen Spaß bei der Arbeit hat. Wir waren letztes Jahr schon dort, hatten es etwas besser in Erinnerung. Aber unser Fazit, und auch das vom Nachbartisch. Wir kommen nicht wieder. Das Kaup war vor 10 Jahren mal gut, wo man nie einen Tisch bekommen hat, jetzt ist es eine Katastrophe und der Speisesaal war leer. Jetzt weiß ich auch warum"

"Alles in allem kann man hier gut essen gehen. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist jetzt nicht unbedingt gemütlich, eher praktisch und einfach. Aber man kommt ja zum essen hierher. Also bei großem Hunger empfehle ich auf jeden Fall eine Vorspeise da es, zumindest bei uns bis zur Hauptspeisen sehr lange gedauert hat. Der vorab servierte kleine Salat war in Ordnung. Die Hauptspeise war auf der servierten Platte überschaubar. Liebhaber von Zaziki sollten sich noch eine extra Portion bestellen. Die Getränke wurden schnell und kühl serviert. Guten Appetit"

"We were 85. Birthday with a relatively large society there. The staff was friendly, though not fast, the ambience was nice, but unfortunately the food was not so good. Salads were salted, steaks too dry, burgers with too much acidity and a fiessed industrial taste. The only thing that got through the bank was the different carving variations. As strange, I also felt that one could only get all the dishes with obligatory soup (tastefully quite ok) and a dessert that reminded me of bag coffee pudding. Why don't you give the guest the choice of whether or not before and after dinner is desired and what it should be? In addition, there are also soups and desserts on the card, which become superfluous as a result."
