"We arrived to this restaurant quite by chance but it must have been our lucky evening. The space is simple but very warm, the personell is really kind and even provided us toys and candies for our kid and quite energetic). Food is...typical home-made southern german cuisine: expect large servings and very nutritious dishes, such as pork meat in sauce or goulasch with wheat gnocchi. On the menu there are also some vegetarian options that are far from boring, such as veggie burgers, salads, cheese gnocchi and soups. Prices are definitly affordable expecially considering the large servings. Bonus point: good house wine We definitley loved this place so much we have have been going back the following evening"

For an American, the concept of German cuisine is an oxymoron, but spending time there you'll discover lots of local specialties and varieties. The Maultaschen (a riff on meat ravioli) and goulash with spaetzle are terrific here. A simple spot, but the food is very...good

We went there just because it was close to our hotel, but what a surprise! Complete offer for German (and Bavarian) food, a really nice service, who talked to us long about the place and the food. For the first time in Germany, they didn't...overcooked my steak! And the quality of the meat was very good. To sum up: good food, good atmosphere, really German, and inside the normal prices. Recommendable!! View menu

we were looking for a restaurant in the surroundings of lindau, where they can easily park. this location features free parking before shopping. there is also space outside to sit in summer time. we ordered our meals, they...serve eat from 17.30 clock for the night. we had ridden the carving with kartoffels. the meals were good, but sure is one of the most important instruments in the kitchen is the fat frit. the scavenger was well roasted. the salate with huh was okay. they have more than just the regular local beer choices that they also serve augustiner edelstoff. the personal is really beautiful and very funny courtesy. great folks who work there.

we were looking for a restaurant in the surrounding of Lindau, where you can park easily. This location has free of charge parking spots in front of the buidling. There is also space to sit outside in the summer time. we ordered our meals, they...serve food starting at p.m. for the night time. We had the Schnitzel with potatoas french fries. The meals were good but for sure one of the major instruments in the kitchen is the fat fryer. So the Schnitzel was fried aswell. The Salad with chicken was okay. They have more then only the regular local beer choices they also serve Augustiner Edelstoff. the staff is really really nice and very funny polite. Great volks that are working there

"My wife and I went first time to this restaurant after recommendation from the place where we stayed overnight, some 3 km away. The beer-garden was nearly full and there were only three tables left when we arrived at 6pm. We sat in the sun, order a glass of Kerner wine (which was excellent) and a typical bavarian Weissbier. The menu showed Spargel and my wife ordered the same with chicken and I had a "Zwiebelriostbraten" )beef fillet with roasted potatoes and fried onions). Food was very good, the beef nearly to the point - as I ordered medium, it was a little overdone - but tasty and of excellent quality. We ordered some more Kerner wine and, unfortunately, had tp wait about 10 minutes until we received the new filled glasses. Meanwhile the whole beer-garden was filled up with guests and a lot of people had to go inside the "Gasthof" to have dinner as there was no place outside anymore. We had for dessert a "Süssser Traum" which was a home-made apple strudel with vanilla ice-cream and hot chocolate sauce. Nice to see that it was served with two spoons and forks without asking for it. My wife and I enjoyed the dessert and were a little unhappy with the espresso served afterwards as it was too much coffee with little foam and had nothing to do with the italian espresso. The waitress, a lady at around mid 40s, and another younger waitress seemed to be a little stressed because of the full beer-garden and therefore, maybe, the service was not what we expected. Still, the lady serving us had her nose a little too high up."
