Very good restaurant with regular restaurant prices. Not close to anything, in the middle of asparagus fields, so a car is best to get there. Look forward to a return visit!

Waren heute dort ich kann nur sagen das Essen war sehr lecker Spargel mit Kartoffel meinen Mann hat es auch gut geschmeckt… die Keller waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam … werden auf jeden Fall nochmal dort essen gehen ..

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe im Reiterstübchen. Das Gänsemenue war wie immer ausgezeichnet, der dazu gehörige Cabernet Sauvignon ebenso. Der Service ist etwas distanziert, aber aufmerksam. Für Gänseessen auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert! View menu

Wie jedes Jahr waren wir gestern beim Gänseessen im Hallerhof. Die Gans war goldbraun gebraten und wurde am Tisch professionell tranchiert. Die Beilagen waren auch sehr gut. Auf Wunsch gibt es die Beilagen nach. Der Wein war gut und ist im Preis enthalten. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

we have not booked our table in advance (do not repeat our mistake) so that we cannot enjoy this Christmas dinner consisting of a whole geese, a red cabbage, Brussels spits, knödeln and a bottle of house wine. it tried last year, and it was fantastic. perfect for four people, and also they can cook it themselves to house, just need to make a goose for 45 minutes in one of the rest is precooked.

Schade. Wir waren schon eigene Male hier. Immer alles gut. Heute leider ein Reinfall erster Güte. Platz reserviert hatten wir vor über 1 Woche im Biergarten. Das es heute regnet, war zum Zeitpunkt der Reservierung noch nicht absehbar. Wir fahren hin und sehen mit Entsetzten, das im Biergarten kein einziger Tisch eingedeckt ist. Auf Nachfrage nach einem anderen Tisch wurden wir vertröstet bzw. auf Absage eines anderen Gastes. Wir hatten eine Reservierungsbestätigung. Warum sagt man die Reservierung nicht ab? this restaurant specializes in sparingly that they grow close to, is the white sorts that are preferred and more common in Germany. it is served in any kind of wise, with hollandaise, with butter and sink or in a buffet in a lot of dressed. in winter it is the place for geese. they can order a whole for 4, served with dumplings, red cabbage, spruten, half a birne with cranberries and much gravy. there are many options on the menu, fish, meat and kartoffels with different fillings. there is a main restaurant, an extra heated tent in winter and they can also eat outside in summer. eating is plentiful and tasty, there is a good choice of crying and the service is good.

This place specializes in white asparagus and is located in the middle of fields with no official address (GPS users please input either Latitude 50 degrs.58' 2.1", Longitude East 6 degrs.41' 56.219" or 'Cologne Hohlweg' and follow signs taking you off the main road).We had a relatively formal dinner for 10 persons early on a Friday evening, the restaurant has an extension in a marquee tent, however, tables were beautifully set with cloth napkins, candles and real flower arrangement.Food was excellent with a relatively small but varied menu which should cover all tastes. Prices very reasonable but service whilst very friendly slow on that night.Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
