"We had Sunday lunch for 9 last week and we are all big food enthusiasts. We unanimously agreed that this was the best Sunday lunch we have ever had at a restaurant! We give the chef an 11/10 review. The presentation was excellent and the taste was superb. The smoked flavor was prominent in all the meats. I rarely find roast potatoes that are both fluffy and crispy, but these were exceptional. The roast was succulent and full of flavor, the vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the staff was friendly and flavorful. I will definitely be returning soon. I highly recommend this place! After living in Devon for over 10 years, this is the best Sunday roast I have ever had in the entire county."

"The atmosphere at Interia was welcoming and clean, with a polite greeting upon our arrival. The tea service was impressive, served in a beautiful matching china set. The Ham, Egg, and Chips dish was decent, although the chips were a little overdone. The Ploughman's platter was missing pickles, like pickled onions or gherkins, and the two slices of packaged ham felt lackluster for a traditional Ploughman's meal. The service was satisfactory. This review is based on a lunchtime dining experience."

"A totally superb roast lunch in an atmospheric 11th century inn. Clearly a very popular spot for lunch on a Sunday, so don't expect to walk in without a reservation and find a table. We left at 3.30; our table was ready for waiting customers very shortly after and Sunday lunch was still being served. The carnivores in our group said that the pork crackling was amazing, the vegetarians loved the nut roast. All the vegetables were excellent, especially the cauliflower cheese and (not a common sight the roasted beetroot. We sampled three of the six or more possible desserts, all scored very highly. Mine was a most enjoyable apple and pear crumble with creme anglaise (custard? . We were happy to forgive fairly slow service, first of all because we didn't want to rush, secondly, because there was a party of 30 people being looked after at the other end of the inn and, thirdly, because the staff were really lovely even though they were clearly extremely busy. We shall definitely be returning; this lunch was easily one of the top three best we have experienced over many years."

"I have been a longtime fan of this restaurant, but my recent visit left me disappointed and slightly embarrassed after hyping up the experience to my friends. It seems like there may have been some cost-cutting measures implemented, as the service style and meal structure have changed for the worse. Dining here used to be special, but this time it was average and lacking in comparison. The portion sizes and variety of dishes have noticeably decreased. The starters we received were mediocre, served on small plates. The main dishes failed to impress, with only one side dish meeting the old standards. The vegetarian options have always been a letdown, and this visit was no exception. The desserts, which used to be indulgent and unique, have now become small portions of basic cake with minimal garnishes. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and disappointing. We left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied and hungry within a couple of hours. Unless I hear of improvements, I doubt I will be returning."

"Came over from Tavy with my parents and found this tea shop right away by the central car park. As soon as we walked in we got a sense of friendliness and warm welcome. Great menu choices I had a lovely sardines cheese on toast with a varied menu of sandwiches, toasties together with some specials. A sign of a fab place is when locals are in and there were many coming and going. The house blend tea was the best I’ve had in ages and they also offered some very interesting speciality teas too. This is what great tea shops should be like!"
