Celebrated a milestone birthday and the staff couldn't do enough to make sure we had a great time. Lovely venue, great food

I had the salmon linguine and the creme brulee and my partner had the creamy mushroom pasta. All of it was so good. The sauce to my seafood pasta was so good I didn't want it to end. Recommend!

It was an amazing experience to have dinner at a place older than the U.S. Once I got over the nostalgia. The food was cooked to perfection, delicious and the price is good. Service was great and wonderful. Strongly recommend it!

The service was second to none. We dined outside,orders for drinks and meal ere taken without delay and were delivered at our table touts suite. departing guests tables were cleared straight away. Food was excellent apart from a runny egg which was replaced quicker than the hen could lay one. Highly recommended.

A few small issues were dealt with swiftly. Lovely to see a place staffed with local youngsters who are leaving the ropes and trying hard they must take their customer service training seriously. The coffee was truly terrible though, and the main receptionist could have tried a bit harder to paste a smile on her face, especially as the staff really did seem to be trying their best.

Very nice pub, and most importantly very clean. We was served by a girl called Sasha she was very friendly and her customer service was of a high standard. We asked her about cocktails which she took her time to suggest some good cocktails for us. All staff were very friendly which was nice compared to other pubs. Food was very fresh and very tasty. Will definitely be returning to this pub. Highly recommend !!!

Went there for a birthday lunch Friday 16.06.23 what a beautiful restaurant, It has beams and a massive old fireplace it was built in 1200 and has been kept in that style. Our waiter was fantastic, funny but professional at the same time. Their menu has something for everyone food was delicious. They have beautiful gardens so you can have lunch outside near the water and fountain if you wish but we ate inside. Can't wait to go back.

Very busy but only waited a short while to be shown to our table for 9 seen straight away drinks order taken and served. Gave us time to catch up then order taken for starters and main. Was not in a rush so starters served within a suitable time. Staff in attendance checking if we required anything. Wasnt rushed and mains served about right after time for a drink and chat and playing silly Xmas Games family tradition. Food was good few had desserts rest of us various coffees. Price very reasonable Mum and Dads treat thanks to all at Sir Henry's and Merry Christmas.

Came here for some dinner on a warm Saturday evening, we pre-booked a table however it was in a very busy part of the upstairs of the pub, which was rather loud. We decided instead to sit outside as it was cooler. The waiting staff were all very polite and courteous. However there was a rather strange rule, that you had to pay for your food and drink as you went along. Rather than a bill at the end of the night. This seemed like a rather unprofessional way to conduct service, we offered to leave a card behind but the manager did not want to accept it. This was slightly disappointing, being treated as if you may ‘do a runner’. It seemed a bit low-tech, there could be other ways to get around...
