"We had an overall good Sunday roast experience. For starters the pig’s head terrine and piccalilli were excellent but the scallops ceviche was a joke, no seasoning and presentation was poor, a handful of gems lettuce sprinkled with two(? thin sliced scallops, avoid that at all cost especially the £17.50 we were charged for. The Angus beef roast was delicious, very well cooked and tender. Trimmings were nice especially the green beans and gravy. I asked for more gravy unfortunately it came 10mins later and was cold. Dessert was succulent, crepes Suzette were perfect! The service was very pleasant especially the host at the front desk! Merci beaucoup!! All in all I will come back."

Everything a bit dry looks as if it were cooked and kept heated For £25 I expected better

Overall good but disappointed that having chosen the lemon tart, was told it was unavailable.

Excellent Sunday Roast. The staff was friendly. Certainly not the cheapest, but worth my money.

Food very over priced and poor quality. Waitress did not have knowledge of the drinks on offer. Won't be returning

I and my friend had dinner here and everything was great, from service, ambiente to eat. emilian, the Albanian gentleman, deserves an increase or a promotion, honestly he works too hard. thanks also to the girl with braid.

I visited other Thomas Cubitt pubs and had great experiences, unfortunately this was not to do with it. The food was standard and expensive for quality. It was average pub food and not increasing it somehow. The attitude is nice, but can be loud when a few people like in. Overall, I would not return or recommend it there.

Startled well but went down hill quickly. Steak tartare on point. Then comes the roast; best Yorkshire I have had in a while. It was the age old gamble, do your risk the beef in a pub that claims to have “ restaurant quality food” or not. Despite the waitresses positivity sadly the beef roasties needed a strong dose of Prozac. Two slices of beef for the price is a little cheeky. Compounded by pretending to serve one of the slices medium rare only to turn it over and see its was cooked more than napalmed pig was insult to injury. Maybe that was the cause of the delay of it appearing. Service was fantastic, food average and this massively overpriced
