"Booked here for a family meal for 9. Everyone enjoyed their meal which was very reasonably priced and good quality. All served in quick succession so no one had to wait while others already eating. Landlord very attentive, happy to chat, but equally happy to leave us to our meal. Will definitely be going back. I have to say am a little baffled by those that have left a low score, you must have just been unlucky or expect the moon on a stick. Would urge others to give it a try and make up your own mind. 9 of use certainly don't think you will be disappointed."

Three of us enjoyed an absolutely fabulous, home-cooked meal tonight. Two lamb shanks and a braised steak and three amazing desserts. Finished off with coffee and all served with a friendly, chatty but non-intrusive barman. Lovely evening.
