"The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We arrived early evening for dinner. The open kitchen is there but to be honest I wish it was out of sight. After all, it’s a pub not some fancy fusion place where the spectacle of the chefs at work would be awesome but in reality it was a very basic kitchen. The choice of beers was great and again, the staff were friendly and attentive. Outdoor area for smokers or dining al fresco looked interesting and a great idea. Food arrived and was frankly pretty disappointing. 1/10 for presentation and it was a bit of a non event. In summary, a great pub for drinks and larger groups to hang out but don’t expect much from the restaurant as that was pretty basic."

Reasonable Sunday roast in a buzzy pub. Value for money but by no means exceptional. Would go back though.

Food good but bad tempered waitress who slammed bottle of water down onto table. She was not happy when we asked for mustard. Toilets were dirty and blocked.
