Stayed here on Sunday night and loved it, place is amazing, relaxing atmosphere, room was lovely breakfast was superb and the owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating will definitely be staying again when we visit the peak district

Lovely interior, great welcome. The Sunday menu was available. The food was so well presented and did not disappoint...delicious. The drinks menu was extensive...wine and spirits with cask ale available. Service was really good. Will definately return.

Staying very nearby for the week and felt lucky to arrive only a few days after the Greyhound opened. Came to eat twice and the food was really really lovely, staff were so friendly, and couldn't have been more hospitable to our 6yr old. If we're in the area again we would definitely return. Just returned home from our second stay at the Greyhound this year. Our room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfy with good quality cotton bedding. We ate with friends in the restaurant and we were all delighted with how delicious the food was. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

We visited on Sunday with our children. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating! We had a starter main and a beautiful bottle of Sauvignon. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and the food was absolutely fantastic. Definitely recommend the roast pork! It's the best local Sunday lunch we have had In a long time. I discovered this restaurant through Facebook and online, but I also knew about it from my visits to the Cromford chip shop. I was eager to try it out, so a group of five of us went there for a Sunday midday meal. It was absolutely fantastic! The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. I can't wait to visit again, probably to explore the regular menu, but the Sunday lunch was truly impressive! View menu

we were recently in cromford for a few days and went in the greyhound for a drink. really great place, we went in a few times with our puppy flo and the staff could not have been more helpful or more attentive. great atmosphere and friendly local, we were very welcome, although we were from outside the opposite. an extensive wine map and a selection of local ales that delights both my man and me, a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. would definitely come back and recommend others. thank you for having us

We had a fantastic meal with my family on Sunday evening at 7:00 PM. Not many local restaurants are open on Sunday nights, so this was a great find! We were all thrilled with this amazing place and can absolutely recommend it—definitely worth a visit! The Greyhound recently underwent some lovely renovations, and the staff were exceptional, providing excellent service. While the menu isn’t extensive, we actually see that as a plus rather than a drawback, and the prices are reasonable too. The flavors of the food were outstanding, and the portions were generous, accompanied by plenty of red cabbage, cauliflower, green beans, and carrots. We will definitely be back!

We called to let them know we were running late on Friday night and checked TripAdvisor for somewhere with good reviews. After booking online, we were greeted warmly upon our arrival. The room was very clean and beautifully furnished to a high standard. We were in need of food, and the menu offered a wide range of options. We started with garlic mushrooms and crab as appetizers, followed by a pasta dish with chorizo in a creamy sauce. For dessert, we had lemon cheesecake with orange, which was some of the best I've had in a long time. I was truly impressed; the quality of the food felt Michelin-star level but at pub prices!
