"We had Sunday lunch today , the food was excellent unfortunately the service not so good . We arrived 5 minutes early and was asked to wait outside , it wasn’t raining but was very windy so declined and waited at the bar . When we sat at out table we waited 20 minutes before being served , this was strange as other tables seemed to be having much faster service. The food came shortly after ordering , but after finishing we weren’t asked if we wanted a desert . After a further wait we went to the bar and paid . The Instant we left the table it was cleared . Shame as 5 stars would have definitely been given if we hadn’t had such long waits . Disappointing to not get desert as they looked very good"

"Yesterday evening, with my man, without moment. we, where I sat right away, I was a little cool and asked to table after a few to another, as it was ready to eat. the waitress was more than happy to pick up my question and clean the table immediately for us, even they thought where pretty busy. we chose the festive menu, even thought I had sent my heart set from there moreish lamb. And I was not disappointed, we had the pate and sausage roll and the burger and a turkey keeper the main thing where amazing and we both fought to every mouthful in. we, where we cracker and party-poppers gave us, which we immediately showed up. these have really added us to our experience and get us in the festive, nice touch boys! we couldn't resist the crumb and cheesecake, I couldn't finish my cheesecake, because my mouth was in agonie with all the food I had eaten, it was so delicious, even though she wounded it, so I could take it home. we finished our night with glowing wine, which was a great note with a cute orange cut on the side. service was great as always and the man deserves credit, she recognizes us, although we did not have the opportunity to visit in 6 months, she is always friendly and the hands on the staff. Many thanks for a nice eating happy Christmas if we don't see them before, but I'm sure they will, as I need a second try in the festive menu."

"We called in for an impromptu lunch whilst in the area. It was mid week so quiet to start but did fill up slowly. We sat on the terrace to dine al fresco as it was a hot September day and the views were uninterrupted and peaceful. There was some nice, unobtrusive music playing in the background adding t9 the ambience. I ordered the steak frites and hubby the steak ale pie. Both were plentiful on the plate, and the pie was definitely home made, it reminded me of my grandmother serving up out of the old blue white pie dish with its thick crust and chunks of beef! I enjoyed the steak frites and there was a good amount of both…and a good serving boat of peppercorn sauce. Every member of staff we encountered were helpful, polite, happy and smiling. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The dishes were priced comparatively to other similar establishments. My slight gripe was that there was only one table parasol available on the decking area, which we luckily had use of, as it was very hot sitting unshaded."

"Went for Sunday lunch today (4th September)Have to say although the service was great the food was awful...Everything we had was frozen and tasteless...roast potatoes were pale and were frozen ones as was Yorkshire Pudding and veg...Was surprised as Bistro meant to be nice but won't be returning"

"I stayed for 2 nights in The New Inn and really enjoyed my stay. The room I had (Room 1) was comfortable and was pretty much exactly what you’d need. It was clean and it had a nice shower and comfortable bed. For meals, downstairs...has a nice bar area with outdoor spaces too. I hadn’t booked a table for food before I arrived, but the staff were still able to fit me in. The food was nice too and the menu prices were quite low, which was a surprise as usually you expect to pay more when you are in touristy areas. I had tea here both nights. The staff were nice and friendly too. The area is nice too. Rhuddlan has its own castle, which is literally a 2 min walk from the hotel, and is worth a look around. There are loads of places to see in the area for touristy things. Conwy is about 30 mins away by car and Anglesey is just a bit further from there. Gwryrch Castle is also very close by too. The seaside town of Rhyl is just 5-10 mins by car."
