"Take a break from the crowds of Chinatown and get into Vietfood. Great value Vietnamese cuisine in an antique-styled setting. The owner formerly worked as the Chef de Cuisine at Hakkasan and earned a Michelin star. The experience here at Vietfood is much more laid back. No booking required, find a table downstairs or up before the staff will whisk over a menu to you. I went for the lunch special Com Hộp £7.90) with the lemongrass chicken option. All the specials get served with a salad of salad, and rice. Both were worthwhile mentions, the rice has a nice soy seasoning with garnish) and the salad has a tasty dressing. The piece of chicken isn’t huge, but together it’s enough for a lunch. The seasonings were very Vietnamese and tasted authentic. And with just a touch of char which brings out the smokiness of the sweet lemongrass marinade on the chicken. More then satisfactory."

I'm quite a fan of Vietnamese food in general. We stopped by for a quick dinner before a show. The place was busy but luckily there was a table for us. We ordered Vietnamese summer roles and pho. It all arrived quickly. Overall, the food was good! They have a 10 Pound minimum spend per person which was a bit odd. I'm not sure if this is normal in London?

The environment was rustic and cozy : The staff were nice and fast serving us. The food was delicious, all of the plates we ordered: pho with chicken, pho with beef not spicy, pho with beef spicy and chicken breast with lemongrass! The soups were really tasty, and with great ingredients on it (the chicken better than the beef . Was a great experience, thanks a lot for that.

Fantastic vietnamese food in heart of London Chinatown. The decor is very cool like walking into Vietnam. Its very very busy so we were seated with other people. We ordered the regular Pho and spicy Pho. It was really great especially when youve been walking around in the cold winter. It tasted very clean and organic. For all the Vietnamese food lovers this place is a must!

the pho was very tasty, they can taste the crimp base very well. the broth had the beautiful beige when a long shimmered bone soup. defines an amazing pho. the 3 pork **** was fresh and the combination of homemade meatballs and the grilled pork bell was added to the fresh vegetables for a very pleasant meal. the crispy early roll were made very good crispy, without being oily amd, many great aromes inside. Food is always best when being shared. Another perk is that you get to sample multiple dishes and allow your taste buds to go take on a ride. Spanish tapas and Chinese dim sums are the perfect example. Apart from that, we’ve now got Indian food pioneering this ‘small dish’ concept in London with the likes of Talli Joe and Hankies Cafe. And now there’s one for Vietnamese food too by this restaurant called Viet Food.

I visited this restaurant with my family during our vacation in London, and it was fantastic! The food was incredible, the service was very quick, and the staff were courteous. Typically, they don’t allow walk-ins, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. The food was so amazing that I visited the place about 4-5 months ago, and I can still vividly remember the taste. In short, just thinking about it makes my mouth water!

One of my favourite food genres is Asian street food. Heady aromas, fantastic flavours and reasonable prices combine in that exotic warm weather to create a memorable dining experience. Trying to bring that into a restaurant with inflated prices can be a tricky proposition and the recent closing of House of Ho in Soho is a stark reminder that even the addition of a celebrity chef to this kind of venture is no guarantee of success. We decided to stop by this restaurant while exploring the streets when we were really hungry. Since the pho sounded appealing and the seafood options didn’t seem appealing, we ordered a pomelo salad, noodles, and a savory dish, along with some delicious drinks. The atmosphere was very cozy, and we sat by the window, watching the rain and people passing by. The Vietnamese coffee was excellent as well. Our food arrived quickly, which was a pleasant surprise.

The service was fantastic! Everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals, and while my food was very good, to be completely honest, it wasn't anything out of this world. I particularly loved the seafood balls; they were delicious and reminded me of a seafood Kiev. The atmosphere was great too, even better than some other places on this street. Personally, I prefer sitting on the first floor unless I can grab a spot at the bar on the second floor. Lastly, it was quite affordable; our meal for two cost around £30 without drinks.
