House brews were good, food was amazing! Husband had a schnitzel which I thought was the best of our...whole time in Germany, I had a special consistening of pork medallions in a gorgonzola pear sauce with linguine. DELICIOUS!! If you are near Ebernheim this is the place to go! They also have a bier garden for the warmer months. A table next to us was enjoying an entire roasted goose looked amazing!"

I had a cream with pommes as a senior. I waited 30 minutes. It was very delicious and was right from serving. Here you can eat! The restaurant is very tidy and well maintained. The service is super friendly and the price/performance ratio is absolutely acceptable. We like to come back!

Wir waren mit 6 Personen im Gasthaus zum Engel. Das Ambiente und die Einrichtung ist einfach. Die Speisekarte gut und umfangreich. Das Essen war absolut fantastisch. Die Menge ausreichend. Qualität war sehr gut. Selbst der Kaiserschmarrn ist hervorragend. Die Preise sind wirklich entspannt. Absolute Empfehlung.

Amazing German food! There is no English menu but google translate can fix that. I had the turkey medallions in a calvados cream sauce with potato croquettes and it was a bit of heaven!! Hubby had the schnitzel with calvados cream sauce with peppercorns...it was delicious and so big he has lunches for a few days! Strongly recommend this place!!! View menu

what a great little place to eat. it is located behind the rat house and they offer a parking space behind their place. they offer olive and fresh bread after ordering. most meal times come with a beautiful large salad and eating is very fresh! we ate there. twice and will return. the beer garden on the back is surrounded by the facility. everything is very clean and the staff is wonderful and friendly. meal for two (with left overs) and beer costs less than 40 euro.

We stayed at 6 today and had a nice place in the quiet beer garden. Our waiter was nicely laughed/ friendly and made our order with humor. All the drinks and meals ordered were served at the same time, so no one had to watch the other while eating. For dinner I can only say that the kitchen understands its craftsmanship and looked out all 6 dishes and also tasted the same. As far as prices are concerned, I am also satisfied because they are reasonable. All in all, we felt very comfortable and welcome and will surely go back to the angel.
