"Years since we last visited Sabor, won’t leave it as long in future …. had a lovely evening with friends. From the moment we we’re welcomed , to the arranging of a leaving taxi ,everything ran professionally and politely .The restaurant has well spaced tables, with quality linen and glassware,and our round table was perfect for the 6 of us. The ambience was lovely , different nationalities chatting away, and even on a Wednesday evening in January, tables were being re- let …so booking a must. Pre dinner gins and a decent house wine were quickly served ,while we perused the menus. My choice of griddled scallops on cauliflower purée to start,followed by fillet of turbot ,wild mushrooms,shrimps and samphire, were both beautifully presented , generous in portion, and tasted absolutely lovely .Hubby’s choice of warm duck livers and caramelised apples, with loin of cod,seafood sauce and mussels on abed of mashed potatoes were also very good . Praise too for the rack of lamb ,beef carpaccio and a very different presentation of prawns “3 ways”:. Accompanying warm breads served in a paper bag ! also deserve a mention . We all passed on desserts. Prices reflect the quality of the ingredients and surroundings of this restaurant, and I have no hesitation in recommending it. A menu del día is available until 4pm"
