"Sitio muy agradable para cenar o tomar deliciosos cócteles. A destacar la atención maravillosa y la rapidez para sacar los platos. Todo estaba muy rico y el precio se corresponde con la situación privilegiada en el mismo paseo de la playa. Pensábamos ver los fuegos desde aquí aunque luego no se veían prácticamente; tampoco nos importó, estábamos muy a gusto disfrutando de las copas."

"GRAN DESCUBRIMIENTO!! Conocemos muchos restaurantes en Altea pero este se nos había escondido . Todos los platos sobresalientes (empezando por la sobrasada casera, comparable con la de Son Dalabau, y el pan?...... ver la foto!! . Rabas del cantábrico muy ricas. La Coca combinando el queso de cabrales con nísperos, espectacular. Gambas en su punto perfecto (por cierto, además de toallitas húmedas para limpiarte los dedos te ofrecen recipiente con agua templada y limón como ya ocurre en pocos sitios y es muy de agradecer . El arroz seco con bogavante muy sabroso, quizá un pelín salado, pero asumible. El servicio sencillamente impecable! Recomendable sin riesgo."

"A beautiful venue with a hard working and very friendly staff. Extra credit to the friendly and very professional Romanian hostess, she's an Ace. A wide variety of food on the menu and our choice of food was just perfect as well as the wine selection. Very nicely situated at the Boulevard directly at the beach A wonderful atmosphere, perhaps you could call it with a touch of Mexican or Cuban style, very colorful, with some very enjoyable live music. We had a very pleasant evening and to finalize my comment... not to worry about the friendly bill. Definitely worth a 5 star rating."

"Returning to Denia from a trip to Alicante, we stopped in to Altea our first visit. The menu at Le Cena by Nola took our fancy it is rare you will find a restaurant in Spain offering both “lunchtime” type choices such as wraps and salads as well as hot choices. We were accommodated at a table in the shade and served a hot chicken wrap, fish and chips and a delicious homemade burger. Prices very reasonable, location gorgeous (and toilets were impeccable a great sign according to my wife! . Highly recommended. Would love to see them open in Denia as well! Only downside was the menu was via QR code which only worked on one of our phones should be a paper backup!"

"Another lovely Sunday lunch with visiting family at this chiringuito , As usual ,busy busy busy. Vegetable paella was a winner this time ,which included artichokes ,asparagus and butter beans ,with bbq chicken halves, following our first course of a sharing platter of frito misto.., griddled bread,tomatoes and allioli and the freshest, hugest ! mixed salad , with jugs of sangria and beer .all served by happy staff Thoroughly recommend,…..in my opinion……,best paella in the area, Plastic tables and chairs, small tumblers for drinks , paper tablecloths, loud families chatting, no music no pretentiousness ,Love it !"

"the restaurant is exceptional, both the local and its terrace, which is where we ate, and although it was hot they sought us a place in the shade to be more comfortable, overlooking the altea and the spectacular mountain range. the service is very good on the part of all, since it comes in that the owner receives you with great sympathy to all the waiters, in particular to us who touched us will, and his service was simply phenomenal. the most important, the food, all exceptional, of quality, very good and well presented, we will certainly come back. excellent price of quality."

"El trato al cliente fue magnífico, sobretodo del dueño, amable y cercano, nos pedimos un solomillo, bacalao y un salmón y tengo que decir que estaba todo buenísimo, no tanta las gambas al ajillo, los camareros han sido muy cercanos y amables, siempre intentado que tengas la mejor cena posible con sus chistes y anécdotas, un poco despistados, de beber probamos el famoso vino azul cuyo olor me hizo soñar despierto, de sabor no se quedaba corto, muy fresco, perfecto para el calor del verano. Una cena estupenda"

"Years since we last visited Sabor, won’t leave it as long in future …. had a lovely evening with friends. From the moment we we’re welcomed , to the arranging of a leaving taxi ,everything ran professionally and politely .The restaurant has well spaced tables, with quality linen and glassware,and our round table was perfect for the 6 of us. The ambience was lovely , different nationalities chatting away, and even on a Wednesday evening in January, tables were being re- let …so booking a must. Pre dinner gins and a decent house wine were quickly served ,while we perused the menus. My choice of griddled scallops on cauliflower purée to start,followed by fillet of turbot ,wild mushrooms,shrimps and samphire, were both beautifully presented , generous in portion, and tasted absolutely lovely .Hubby’s choice of warm duck livers and caramelised apples, with loin of cod,seafood sauce and mussels on abed of mashed potatoes were also very good . Praise too for the rack of lamb ,beef carpaccio and a very different presentation of prawns “3 ways”:. Accompanying warm breads served in a paper bag ! also deserve a mention . We all passed on desserts. Prices reflect the quality of the ingredients and surroundings of this restaurant, and I have no hesitation in recommending it. A menu del día is available until 4pm"

"La atención del mismo,está muy bien cuidada, trato personal muy bien cualificado sin hacer diferencia alguna entre los clientes. Es un restaurante muy limpio y sobre todas las cosas aman al cliente, saben perfectamente que es lo que nos gusta a nosotros, para ello utilizan su propia psicología, para que el cliente reciba sin decir ni una palabra lo que él espera de los anfitriones. Obviamente estos son los que dirigen el tamaño distinguido Restaurant. Particularmente deseo felicitar a su propietario; ,1º por saber llevar tan distinguido restaurante, durante tantos años."

"Fuimos la primera vez a comer, el arroz es espectacular recomendable 100%, el pescado es fresco lo traen cada dia de la lonja. La segunda vez que hemos ido a cenar, nos pedimos la pizza casera al horno de leña, muy rica y sabrosa. Muy atentos y la presentación muy buena, hemos ido un par de veces y repetiremos una tercera seguro. Nos atendio el camarero Marian, un xico super profesional y atento en cada momento, no nos falto de nada."

"A wonderful eating experience! Good service from friendly attentive staff , excellent food and a beautiful sea view! Great value for money! We have eaten here twice and both times left very satisfied. First time was shared tuna salad, salmon and pork medallions served with potato and veg followed by shared cheese cake. Second time was shared goats and blue cheese salad, Tuna medium and chicken with cheese and the tasty cheesecake again! Washed down with a large glass of wine. We are very fortunate to be able to eat out often and this restaurant has never disappointed! Thank you."

"uno de los mejores restaurantes de altea. el sitio tiene una decoración fantástica, como una antigua casa típica de altea. Es esencial probar la crepe (ambas camarones y salmón) así como el espagueti marino con almejas. Si no están en la carta para preguntar y preguntar, estoy seguro de que te los hacen y están muertos. el pan lo sirve asado en el horno y caliente, que es un gran detalle para mi opinión. la atención por parte del personal es genial, son muy agradables y te hacen pasar un buen rato disfrutando de una buena comida. sitio recomendado 100!%"

"We visited mid week in February for some much needed food after a long day on the bikes. We had 2 delicious pizzas, when we first saw them we thought we may have to ask for a box to take some away, but soon realised how hungry we were and scoffed the lot! The lady who served us was so friendly and warm, we tried to speak a little Spanish and she was very receptive, but helped us out in English when we ran out of words! A quick and easy dinner, great value and would recommend."

"First impressions may be underwhelming it's located on a busy road and the exterior could do with a luck of paint) but there is some good cooking here at reasonable cost. Nothing fancy but the paella has a deserved reputation and the desserts were a cut above the average. Nice house white wine too. Our waiter Emilio was friendly and professional . We don't often eat in the same place twice on holidays but we did here."

"They are attached to the well-known “the crab”, is a bar for some snacks, but I think the letter is not very attractive, I think the rice is not bad but I didn’t try, they have little gender of the area, we asked for sepia and it wasn’t bad, we asked for a specific table that was empty and they told us no, it was all empty night, I don’t understand that they wouldn’t give it."

"We have visited all of the Bistro Shabby chic restaurants many times as we live in Altea and have had nice meals. However we had dinner in the original Old town Atea one on Sunday evening and unfortunately it was not a great experience. It was quite a cool evening and the restaurant was very cold, doors left open no heat on. We had to keep our coats on! The host had a full length wool coat on so I suppose that said it all. I asked for a candle from the waiter to try and give a semblence of heat and atmosphere. You'd expect that to be a given. Foodwise we had bruschetta to share for starter which was not great. It wasn't the nice fresh tomatoes you'd expect and bread was a bit stale. The mains were served and waiter was about to run quickly back downstairs! I just managed to ask for oil/balsamic dressing for my salad before he did!! He never asked did we need them as you would expect or for them to be on the table! He brought me two oils and had to smell them when I told him it was not balsamic but 2 olive oils! As if he didn't believe me! My main cajun chicken was nice but my husband had entrecot it was cooked well but was like leather. (He said it was like a workout for his mouth to eat it. By the time the water came upstairs to ask us if everything was ok we were nearly finished eating. We told him about the steak and the host gave us a dessert to share which was a nice gesture. However a better cut of meat would have been preferible. The two owners of Shabby Chic that we have had the experience of in all of their restaurants before were not there this night. We know they are very attentive and give a very good service and I would imagine they would not be too happy with this review. I hope on reading this they will get their staff to improve on all of the above."

"We were celebrating father's day and the truth is that we couldn't get any more happy. We ate in the small reserve where we were very a drop and well attended. We wanted to try many things, as we came hungry and enjoyed everything we tried. the oysters of two excellent and fresh types; the ceviche an explosion of flavor, the tataki of tuna was undone in the mouth and the chopitos and sepionets of first. the bull's tail and the sweet and tasty carrill. all accompanied by good wine and good service. the price completely according to the quality. we will return! jaume does not fail."

"Sencillamente delicioso, platos originales con sabores exóticos y agradables a la vista y al paladar. Picor, el justo y necesario, tomamos la ensalada laap de pato, curry rojo de gambas con arroz kao, pad thai de ternera y salteado con jengibre. No somos muy de postres pero el mango con arroz glutinoso y helado , para compartir, fue el colofón perfecto a una fantástica cena. Por cien mil diablos tuertos que volveremos!!!"
