"Had used the takeaway chippy, earlier in our stay in Pittenweem, for chips to go with our meal back at rental cottage. Last night of our holiday decided to call in, after day out, for meal as dog friendly . Not busy, got table for four, dog offered treat and bowl of water. Food was good, brother and his wife had the Balmoral chicken which they said was good but veg were cold; my wife had two starters mussels a crab dish, again good; I had main course mussels chips again good, but served with a slice of plain white bread, a more rustic type of bread baguette would have been great to dip up the sauce. Service was excellent. Only ourselves and another couple in restaurant so very little atmosphere. Good pint of Belhaven Best. Parking: Parked in bays alongside harbour, plenty of space available, not sure what it would be like when village busy."
