"My husband and I were staying in our caravans at Poplars Farm in Hulland Ward, near Ashbourne. We visited this pub on Sunday for a drink and were warmly welcomed. We even played darts with the friendly regulars. Last night, on Thursday, we walked over from our caravan, which took 7 minutes. We had drinks and then ordered the blackburgers with black pudding and apples, served with chips and salad. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely return when we come back with our caravan. I highly recommend this pub - it was busy even on a Thursday night. A great spot for eating and drinking."
