"My wife and I took a friend for her 80th birthday treat; and we couldn't have picked a better place for a special meal. We all had Kir Royal aperitif, followed by the Plat du Jour which was great value for money. We were given a little plate of savoury tarts whilst we waited for the meal. We started with a delicious home-made mushroom soup and fresh bread rolls. Then chicken breast en croute lovely herby breadcrumby crust) with fluffy rice and a tangy wseet and sour sauce not too sweet) and it was excellent. Followed by a rhubarb and crumble mouse which was unusual and very tasty. OUr birthday girl prefers white wine not too dry and we chose a bottle of Gascogne wine which was beautifully chilled and just right for the meal. Afterwards coffees. The service was excellent. The restaurant itself is a beautifully renovated barn with huge Cantou fireplace with lovely blazing log fire. All together it was just over a hundred euros."

"a superb restaurant where the plates are as beautiful as good. A pleasure! Bravo! only negative: the young waitress who does not seem to appreciate his work and that was not necessarily pleasant. But the other waitress was adorable! Thank you to the site's boss for coming to see us and talking to us a little bit and thank you for the attention you had for us."
