"I was under the week at noon and there was a lot going on, we were lucky we got a place without reservation. The pizza was baked in a stone oven and richly covered. The melted mozzarella cheese on the pizza was a dream. Very nice atmosphere and very nice service. Next time I would book a safe table."

"This Family run hotel is in a good location in Baden Baden just a short pleasant walk to the centre of town. There is parking onsite some in a garages area, the location would be a good base for touring the Black Forest and surrounding...areas. There is a bar and restaurant, Both unfortunately close as we were a week before the season really starts, both looked OK The reception staff (one of the family) were very welcoming, friendly and informative on things to do and see. The room we had was spacious, airy, clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good, the shower rail needed a bit of maintenance as the holder was loose but this really was only a minor issue. We didn’t take breakfast as we had an early start. Overall I would be happy to stay at this hotel again, it’s got ‘character’ · Only minor issue was the loose shower fixing otherwise no other complaints at all."

"The unfortunate thing about restaurants such as this one is that they will tend to feel that their location affords them impunity vs. accountability for the general satisfaction of their clientele. Situated directly across from the Festspielhaus and in the ground floor of a hotel,...this place could not be more conveniently placed. And there, the assets of this restaurant cease, utterly. Before continuing, be aware that not a fiveminute walk toward the old city on Lange Strasse are no less than other restaurants including Italian. That short walk is more than worth saving oneself the frustration and disappointment of careless, ambivalent, arrogant service, combined with mediocre food. The most notable component of the meal was the hair found in the antipasto, for which there was no apology, and the indication of whose presence was met with a demeanor as if it was my fault for having the audacity to point out its presence. Should I have eaten the cook's hair....? I hate this type of attitude, semireasonable pricing, notwithstanding. Once our order was made, our initial waiter admittedly, a nicenatured older gentleman disappeared totally from the premises, and we were left utterly alone, leaving me to get up from the table or times to remind them to bring the remainder of the dishes we had ordered. Leave this place alone.....in all earnest Search elsewhere and don't be fooled by the location Don't spend money on lack of service and substance. Just not worth it for this kind of experience"

"After having spent 3 hours at the Friedrichsbad I felt like a quick bite before doing some sightseeing in Baden-Baden on my day-trip from Karlsruhe. Usually I go for local specialities, but since they are often served in restaurants, where one has to have plenty...of time, I opted for a Chinese place, which are usually very fast in serving their meals. On a board outside this restaurant in the center of the old town and 'Fussgängerzone ' (pedestrian area I saw written: 'Salat mit knuspriger Hühnerbrust ' (salad with crisp chicken breast . There was a friendly young Chinese lady inside, who spoke German, and without having a look at their menu card I ordered this dish. It came quickly, as expected, and was quite good. Naturally there was nothing Chinese about it, but it had soya and chili sauce on the table. The price (5 € was incredible as well, especially if one comes from Switzerland. Not surprisingly credit cards are not accepted. The interior is bright with big windows, with wicker lamps high up over the tables and just a few 'chinoiseries ' as decorations. Tables and chairs are of light wood. The place seems popular, since it was quite full with mostly German guets."

"The menu items which could be made vegan were marked on the menu. The staff member who took our order seemed to understand but then came back and asked it we wanted lamb or chicken in the biriyani. We were confused and checked that he understood that we wanted all vegan, but he insisted on asking and so we thought maybe they had fake meat and said chicken if it was vegan. Luckily the manager then came over to tell us we couldn't have a vegan dish with chicken (they didn't have fake meat) and clarify it all. The food was delivered promptly, was delicious and everything else went smoothly."

"The restaurant, waiters and food are ok. We sat in the shady backyard, it's nice there under big trees and umbrellas. The waiting time for the food was short, everything tasted ok, but the sushi rolls didn't hold together which made eating very difficult. "Very nice restaurant. Even though we had made a reservation through their website, and showed them the email they sent us (written in German , they didn't quite understand why we were there and thought we had a reservation for their hotel, and made us jump from the restaurant to the cafe next door and then back to the restaurant. Appart from that minor detail, we found that the servers were rather friendly and the food was very good. The prices are a bit high considering our dishes had no vegetables as sides, but the quality was there. Not our usual choice when we come to Baden-Baden, but we were happy with our meal and will probably come back. However, seeing a photo posted here by another customer, we thought they had cheese fondue, but that wasn't the case, at least not today (maybe they don't have it during summer time? . Recommended"

"Wir waren in der Vorweihnachtszeit mit drei Pärchen im Bierbrunnen, die Reservierung hat gut geklappt. Es herrscht eine nette und lockere Stimmung im Lokal, die Sitzverhältnisse sind etwas beengt. Die Speisekarte hält auch immer ein paar saisonale Gerichte bereit, für Jeden ist etwas dabei. Der Service war nett und freundlich, Speisen und Getränke wurden ansprechend serviert. Uns hat es im Bierbrunnen wirklich gut geschmeckt, die Portionen waren ausreichend groß. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut, erst Recht für Baden-Baden. Wir kommen gerne wieder, eine klare Empfehlung."

"The restaurant is in Gernsbacher Straße, not far from the Caracalla Therme. In fact, I popped down that restaurant to have dinner after having plunged into the said hot baths.It’s a nice, gay and well lit up place with a good view over the street through a completely glassed door. The decoration though simple is rather attractive. As regards the music, it could be better. The day I was there one just heard a guy roar. Very unpleasant! That goes much to the detriment of the atmosphere. Therefore, albeit it’s Italian music the alternative consisting in silence would be much more appreciated.The food is good there, particularly the Italian dishes; not in vain it’s a pizzeria. I ordered spaghetti scoglio and it was very tasty though, in my case, hard to digest. The pizzas and all the other pasta dishes look also very good.I can’t say that the staff is very kind in that place as per my experience. In pursuance of the receipt concerned, I was served by the manageress who looked very efficient but didn’t endeavour to be affable.The prices are moderate. Therefore, since, as said, the food is tasty and well cooked, it’s not perhaps a place to miss in Baden-Baden."

I ordered kartoffel soup and a glass of wine from the region. the suppe was delicious, with cut sausages, but the color turned out to be kind of suspicious. yes, and the consistency of suppenpüre was also distrusted. I asked the waitress, she said that this pie soup is made from potatoes cooked in her dish, and the color is so purple because a special red-lila French kartoffel is used to make it. well done German! everything will work! even kartoffel dishes. but that did not stop me from eating this suppe with appetit! So when they go up the mountain - they can go nowhere - there is only one restaurant, go on."

"Wir waren bei unserem ersten Besuch im Bonito - damals noch Besitos - absolut begeistert. Leckere Tapas, tolle Cocktails, schönes Ambiente und sehr freundlicher Service. Bei unserem zweiten Besuch gestern waren wir leider alles andere als begeistert. Die Karte war veraltet und etliche Gerichte sowie Getränke nicht verfügbar. Das Essen an sich war gut, aber verbesserungsfähig. Bei einem Restaurantbesuch ist zu erwarten, dass in einer Knoblauchsauce auch Knoblauch zu schmecken ist oder eine Tomatensauce selbst gemacht ist. Die Cocktails waren sehr lecker und das einzig Empfehlenswerte. Das größte Manko allerdings war der Service. Sehr unfreundlich und nicht wirklich anwesend. Nach dem Essen haben wir eine halbe Stunde gewartet, ehe wir die Kellnerin bei ihrer Raucherpause stören mussten, da wir gerne noch etwas bestellen wollten. Auch aus wirtschaftlicher Sicht ist es zu bemängeln, wir hätten gerne einige Cocktails mehr getrunken, aber es war keine Bedienung für uns da und wir wurden auch nicht danach gefragt. Das war definitiv unser letzter Besuch. Schade!"
