"Das war kein authentisches chinesisches Essen. Da hab ich schon viel besser gegessen in Bern! Das Gemüse war weich gekocht und es waren Zutaten dabei, die nicht zum Gericht passten. Kam mir vor wie sie noch irgendwelche Reste dazu mischen mussten, um es nicht wegzuwerfen. Bin selber Chinese und weiss, dass man nicht alles genau wie in Asien kochen kann, aber das war einfach schlecht. Das schlimme war jedoch die Bedienung!Unfreundlich und respektlos. Die Gerichte wurden nicht warm gehalten, obwohl Rechaud vorhanden war. Das Personal darauf angesprochen, erwiderten sie nur, wir müssen eben schneller essen und dann den Platz wieder freigeben! Ich glaubte nicht richtig zu hören. Aber es war so, denn sie hat es mir nochmals genau so erklärt. Das Restaurant war halb leer und auch wenn es voll gewesen wäre, das ist respektlos und für mich das letzte mal! K. Tran / Thun"

"Das India4u ist relativ zentral gelegen und man bekommt durchaus auch ohne Reservation am Wochenende noch einen Platz - allerdings nur, wenn man zeitig genug kommt. Der Service war freundlich, wenn auch aufgrund der Vielzahl von Gästen recht stark gefordert, wenn nicht gar überfordert. Zudem konnte der junge Mann kaum Deutsch. Die Speisekarte ist gross und so fällt die Wahl schwer. Das Essen war gut. Doch zu den besten Indern würden wir das India4u nicht zählen. Die Preise sind ok, zumindest für vegetarische Gerichte. Fazit: wenn man gerade in der Nähe ist, dann ist es ok, dort essen zu gehen"

"Extensive menu and I was really disappointed that I couldnt have a meal here as had already eaten at a Pizzeria down the road. So we figured we’d grab a coffee and a creme brûlée here. I asked the female waiter and she directed me to a tall, middle aged brown guy. No response to my “hello”, no niceties exchanged which was probably my first and only ‘unfriendly’ experience during my entire stay in Switzerland. His response to me “do we have creme brulee” my response “yes it's on your menu”. He seemed so disinterested to even respond. I get it if you've run out of an item or no longer offering it but there's a better way of responding to enquiring customers. Zero on customer service skills. People like him should just quit the service industry. From all the reviews ive read the food is at best sub-par so im not sure why he has such a stiff attitude. He really left a sour lasting impression on my last day in Switzerland. Im sure hes the one responding to reviews in a sarcastic manner with zero relevance to the review itself which further explains the massive chip he has on his shoulder."

"Leider gibt es bei Tripadvisor kein "gut" als Kategorie - doch genau das wäre die richtige Bewertung. Der Service war nett und rasch, Extra-Wünsche wurden prompt erfüllt. Die Karte ist nicht umfangreich, aber durch die verschiedenen Kombinationsmöglichkeiten und Sides, die zusätzlich bestellt werden können, findet sicher jede/r etwas. Die Burger gibt es wahlweise auch mit glutenfreiem oder ganz ohne Bun, Inhalt auch Vegi oder sogar vegan. Der bestellte Falafel Burger ohne Bun sah dann aber doch grössenmässig sehr kläglich aus und hat wohl nur gereicht, weil meine Begleitung Abends nicht gross Hunger hat - aber gemessen am Preis war der in der Kartonschachtel servierte "Burger" klar zu klein. Mein Salat mit Chicken sah optisch auch knausrig aus - wobei ich zugeben muss, dass ich am Schluss satt war und lecker war's auch. Ich bin aber sicher, dass der Salat, wenn er in einem breiteren Teller, statt der kleinen Schale serviert würde, viel mehr hermachen würde. Das Auge isst schliesslich mit.Das Ambiente draussen ist nett, die Tische waren alle besetzt."

"I went there for a quick lunch. The service was amazing, the ladies there are super nice. I went for a fried gyoza starter and some nasi goreng with chicken. The food was great as well and the portion sizes were... just enough. Try the home-made Thai Ice Tea when you are there, it was delicious (and get some Sake too!"

"We were there for coffee small lunch. The waitress offered us to try their homemade kimchi. We had sweet desserts which didn’t really fit with the kimchi and said we’re not interested. After her insisting we try it, we got a tiny portion which they tried to charge us for in the end (and I didn’t agree to pay). scrolling through some of the comments here make me realize they do it regularly there, so I’ll skip the next visit. Beware of the kimchi scam!"

"Located in the railway building, this restaurant offers a self-service buffet. As I went there, most option were vegan and clearly labeled. You take your food from the buffet, go to a counter (friendly staff, explained everything very patiently), and put your plate on a scale. I was a little astonished by the price. For Switzerland it is moderate, even not very affordable. But if you 're from a foreign country, be careful how much you put on your plate. The food was really tasty and was made of fresh ingredients, often with a oriental touch. Some dishes were warm, others cold, a small bread is included. All in all I enjoyed my short stay there. The only thing I would complain is the atmosphere, especially outside. You 're sitting right next to a street, the building itself is pretty ugly, and so on. That 's maybe not a fault of the restaurant, but in consequence of that there 's a lack of atmosphere."

"We went to Pho Saigon, on a Saturday, at noon. It is a small restaurant, no fuss, the decor is really simple, the music playing in the background was nice, the food was very good and so was the service. I had a pho with tofu, but I very much doubt the stock is vegetarian. It was very tasty and the portion was generous. It comes with the usual fresh herbs and lime on the side. They don't have a lot of vegetarian dishes, I think I might have seen one or so. We will definitely return."

"For many years we used to go to the Restaurant next door, but this has now unfortunately closed down, so we decided to give Santa Lucia a try. Our visit went off to a rocky start, a Manager or Waiter told us quite rudely that since we did not have a reservation, there was no space for us, and he ushered us out of his way. We were a bit stunned by his treatment and were just left standing. The same person came back a short while later and mumbled that he could make space for us, and then guided us to a table at the rear, which was perfectly fine for us. Somebody else then came and greeted us warmly, taking our orders. The food was not disappointing either, we were well pleased at the quality and presentation of the main courses that we had ordered. So much so, that we even ordered a Dessert, which is not something that we normally do. To sum it up, if we disregard the entrance episode, the food and service were great, and we will come back, perhaps with a reservation next time."

"Wir waren im Okra für ein Abendessen. Die Online-Reservation zuvor hat super geklappt. Eine Reservation v.a. abends schien sich zu lohnen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und wir fühlten uns willkommen. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist gross und es gibt für alle Geschmäcker was - von scharf bis mild, und Fisch, Fleisch bis Vegi, schien alles abgedeckt zu sein.Das Essen war vorzüglich und sehr authentisch.Das Restaurant sieht von aussen vielleicht auf den ersten Blick nicht typisch indisch aus, ist es aber im Innern! Sehr schöne Atmosphäre, man fühlt sich als Gast wohl."

"We went there for a birthday dinner, and the overall experience was disappointing. The shared salad bowl was tasty and fresh. The vegetarian dish hiwever had dry pieces of polenta, with overall little flavor and lack of some sauce to make it more interesting. We thought the daily fish plate was very expensive at CHF48, considering the somewhat pedestrian peas and mushroom veggies that came with it. Our server was curt to the point of being unfriendly, never came by to ask if we wanted another glass of wine, and no thank you or good by when we left. Considering the price point of the place not very satisfying."

"This restaurant seemed promising based on the website and the discussion with the host, but the waiter was clueless. There is actually no gluten-free menu, just a list of allergens in each meal. There were 3 items on the menu that were labeled as possible to make gluten free, 2 were salads. I ordered one of the salads to be gluten free and was given a bowl of lettuce. Just lettuce! Perhaps a better waiter could have navigated the situation, but even with native German speakers at the table with us, our results were terrible."

"Eigentlich war ich bis jetzt bei jedem Besuch im Nooch mit dem Essen und Service zufrieden. Dieses Mal war ich aber etwas enttäuscht ab dem, was geliefert wurde. Ich hab mich für Pouletspiessli mit Sataysauce, Gemüse und Jasminreis entschieden. Im Ganzen hatte ich bei beiden Spiessli nur je drei Stückchen Poulet - das darüber hinaus sehr trocken war. Der Rest vom Spiessli war Lauch. Sauce und Gemüse waren lecker, der Reis aber ebenfalls sehr trocken. Zwischen der Bestellung und dem Auftragen der Gerichte lag nur sehr wenig Zeit. Das ist einerseits natürlich erfreulich, legt aber andererseits die Vermutung nahe, dass vieles schon vorbereitet ist und vielleicht unter einer Wärmelampe vor sich hin trocknet...? Für mich stimmt so Preis-/Leistung mit über CHF 25 nicht mehr.Das Gericht mit den Glasnudeln, Poulet und Gemüse war lecker.Der Service war schnell und unaufdringlich, die Tische draussen in der Sonne schön. Etwas unpraktisch die Stühle, die wegen den Armlehnen nicht an den Tisch gezogen werden können."

"We sampled some local cuisine of homemade sausages with steamed veg. We shared an entree a platter of meats and cheeses. 2 beers (1 x 500ml and one 300ml). 2 glasses of wine. Service was very friendly. Waiter helpful. The food was average. Tasty enough but nothing special and certainly not worth the cost. The bill was 116.60 swiss franc. That might be OK if you are Swiss or from the USA, but it represented for us average fare at AUD170. Having just spent 5 weeks in Italy where our exchange rate is even worse, we have felt it more here in Switzerland due to the poor value proposition. IE: prices of everything are inflated beyond the level of quality delivered. A coffee in Italy is €1 3, but here it is CHF 5 6. A bottle of water in the eurozone is €1 2, but in Switzerland I have paid CHF 3 6. We had hotdogs on the waterfront at Luzern today and they were tasty (CHF7 each). Back to this restaurant simple, home style meal, just not memorable. It is what we would find in a country pub at home."

"Lebanese cuisine tastes good and is always recommended for vegetarians … They also deserve 5 stars for their cuisine, hospitality and friendliness. By the way, it also has a “vegan and gluten-free menu” If you want a table for sure, it's best to reserve on Friday and Saturday between 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The flatbread is included in the price."
