"There are certainly countless occasions in which we have shared pleasant moments of celebration or improvised situations in this place with family and friends. Although aware of the great experience and professionalism always demonstrated by the staff to the chefs of the White Cross, it is our desire to once again underline the delicacy and elegance underlying the welcome that accompanied us during lunch on Christmas Day. Everything was absolutely impeccable from the reception of guests to the service, from the appetizers to the dessert. The restaurant is truly a flagship of Oropa, which hosts a fascinating and engaging Sanctuary in the heart of the Piedmont mountains, with splendid mountains as a backdrop."

"Firstly we asked for a light white wine and the waiter threw the wine list menu and refused to help us. When we asked for a Sauvignon blanc he replied with “oh you said you wanted a local wine” which we didn’t. My food then came (I had ordered tuna) and I could smell the fish before it arrived at the table. I tasted it and nearly threw up in my mouth. My colleague also said it stinks and tasted off. I complained to the waiter and he asked if I wanted something else. I said no, please can you just remove it from the bill. When the bill came I asked the waiter if it had been removed and he said no the chef said it was fine. I told him it wasn’t and that I hadn’t eaten it and he then snatched my credit card from my hand to pay for the bill. I snatched it back and asked to speak to someone else and he got very aggressive at me. Absolutely vile staff, aggressive and sexist."

"Went there twice and in both occasions I couldn 't complain neither of the service nor of the food. I ordered a selection of cold cuts which came with marmalade and some tigelle and gnocchi fritti , traditional homemade products. My friend went for a risotto which looked very appealing and according to her it was delicious too. The bill was quite fine too, not overly expensive but neither that cheap. The only negative note was the fact that it took ages before they refilled the tigelle and gnocchi fritti basket."

E' cosi' bello per me!

"We went for lunch on a Saturday, decided to eat inside as it seemed cooler although the tables on the piazza looked very appealing. We were offered some delicious amuse bouche, salted cod croquettes, focaccia and a hazelnut butter salted biscuit. Deciding what to order was a challenge, as the menu on offer is creative and intriguing, but I settled for potato gnocchi with a char sauce (delicious and a steamed turbot roll with miso, green apple and ginger sauce (beautiful refreshing taste! . With coffee we were offered some petit fours, including a fabulous peach jelly. Wine list is very rich and interesting, but I was driving. Will try next time. Highly recommended."

"I was looking for a romantic place for a dinner and this was a revelation! aperitif with best purple spritz I've ever tasted, very particular goits, abundant and of every quality and exceptional goto, different from the usual aperitif. I also dined and the owner moved us to the table next to the dinner, very well equipped. I couldn't finish the very good lemon cutters, which I brought home. excellent price quality, if you are vegetarians warned on the phone there will be no problems . great for a romantic and quiet dinner. I'll be right back."

"#YOU ARE IN BIELLA… …and do you want a very nice place in which to enjoy homemade Piedmontese cuisine? I have the right place for you: the Dal Dino restaurant-pizzeria in via Tripoli 55/D! I went with the family and we had lunch with: Piedmontese appetizers (sublime) tagliolini with browned bacon and pecorino (me) fresh tagliolini with mushrooms (for others) various and delicious desserts, homemade. Wine? I tasted a local red wine that went well with the tagliolini. Honest prices, generous portions, genuine cuisine, kindness and care from the owners in abundance. Definitely… to return!"

"The team is young, friendly, professional and very helpful. The menu offers a selection of excellent dishes, well approached, from which you can perceive the search for quality. For wines I recommend to close the menu and to be advised by the wise and expert sommelier. Sweets are the best I've ever tried: they are always different and combine simple flavors with skill, obtaining delicious results! The furnishings are well-kept and tasteful; the exposed red bricks alternate with white and clean parts, decorated with prints and posters of past art exhibitions; in some corners of the room, low armchairs and small tables recreate mini living rooms with magazines and newspapers available, making the environment cozy, relaxed and warm, as at home. A piano is available to everyone. I tried it with friends on the weekend, on lunch break it has become a habit, or after dinner for a cocktail, and it became a certainty to spend a nice evening. I look forward to coming back! ps: cocktails are phenomenal!"
