"Can’t comment on the food as we rang up to book a table for my parents the following night. We were told we didn’t need to book, we could just come and get a table as there are usually tables available around 7pm. So we based our whole day around making sure we would be be in Bowmore on time. When we did get there, the owner basically tried to talk us out of eating there. Said he was too busy with takeaway orders and that we’d be waiting ages. I admire his honesty but would have been nice of him to tell us that he doesn’t really cater to people wanting to eat in. It’s in such a nice location that if he put a bit of effort into the aesthetic of the interior, he could become a hotspot for local and holiday diners."
