"I booked a table for 2 really last minute on a busy December night, piccolio’s manger cosimo took the booking, he was so friendly and helpful that we really needed after a hard work in the cold winter weather! we went in and the restaurants that were breathtaking have woken us! the decor is stylish and above all it was so warm and cozy what we needed, we were greeted with smiles all around by every worker and was immediately taken on our table, without waiting time what ever! we were so swollen! Shortly after we sat, we tamara welcomed them beautiful, well presented and extremely polite. we thought up the menu, while tamara served us the most delicious Rosè Prosecco and took our orders. it was a hard choice, as we wanted to order one of all, the menu choices sound exquisite! so much choice and catering for all food requirements. my own and my friend decided to go for the spaghetti frutti di mare, which was absolutely inconceivable! muddle, mush and calamari topped with a huge garlic king prawn! it didn't take long until there were two empty teller and full bell! we stayed and talked together about the life and there was no hurry to move us from table to tamara has checked us we were so glad to have chosen piccolino chester for our girly dinner date and just wanted to say a massive thank you to cosimo, tamara and the piccolino team. I can't wait to come back to another fantastic evening."

"Had lunch here yesterday. What a gem. Please book, always busy by the looks of it we were in Chester for the day. Staff where very friendly the interior is quirky and lovely. Had the vegetarian breakfast was delicious, was also great that tea is served in a pot with china cups and you get more than one cup out of the pot. Had a delicious dessert too and an espresso Martini with a shot of hazelnut. Delicious the best I have had. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Chester to eat here was lovely. Will definitely be returning again."

"The only disappointment was where we were seated: people were standing behind us and kept knocking into our chairs because they were very drunk. Perhaps they should seat people who are eating separately from those who are drinking. I had to speak to them to ask them to stop knocking into our chairs. The waitress was amazing, although I didn't catch her name. She kept asking if we wanted our drinks refilled so we didn't have to go to the bar. The food was absolutely outstanding."

"First visit to Urbano today and we weren't disappointed. Although it was very busy, we were greated by a very friendly member of staff and shown to a table. We only wanted drinks and were offered cocktail suggestions, one of which we chose it was so good, we ordered a second one each. Service was quick, staff were all smiling and friendly. We will definitely return for food next time we are in Chester."

"My partner and I came to Moules a Go Go for the first time on a Wednesday evening. We were delighted to see that there was a special offer on 24.95 for a starter, main and a bottle of wine. Absolute bargain! The starters were lovely. I had houmous and my partner had the Feta salad, both tasty and good sized portions. For main we both went for mussels and they were so tasty. We both ordered desserts and we were able to take the 2nd bottle of wine home as we didn't have the room for it! The restaurant is really nice with a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were all friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I highly recommend going, especially if you're a fan of mussels and wine! We will return, thank you :"

"My wife and I booked the Valentine 's Day meal, which was £69 per person, plus drinks. Although we received good service and the food was delicious, the meagre portion sizes left us disappointed. By the time we had consumed the snack , starter and main, we were considering stopping off for something to eat on the way home, as we were still so hungry! The beef Wellington was advertised as for two to share which implied that it was quite substantial. Instead, it was served as two tiny individual portions, there was nothing to share about it. It wasn 't even served with a potato dish, with the explanation that the pastry is very rich which was nonsense. Annoyingly, one of the servings was significantly smaller than the other; an observation which my wife also overhead another table commenting on to their waitress. The dessert was the only course that was reasonably portioned. As the other courses were so small, we got through everything rather quickly. My wife had visited the restaurant previously with a friend and had a lovely meal, so wanted to share the experience with me. Instead, we left feeling that we had been conned and won 't be returning."

"What an incredible experience, we went to the Teppanyaki dinner with 2 other couples so we made up half the table but there were couples as well all sat on a large square horseshoe table, if that makes sense, with a chef in the centre cooking on a large grill. You ordered exactly what you wanted and the accuracy and quality of cooking was amazing. Add the theatre of the chef with his comedy antics and juggling skills including audience participation made it a dining experience second to none. If you want a romantic quiet dinner, its not the place but if you want a unique dining experience with high quality food and wine then give it a go, you won't regret it."

"To improve, the food should be served hot and at the same time, instead of possibly sitting out for a while. The correct dishes should be brought out to avoid confusion with other orders. The music was too loud for early evening, especially with young families present. The bar area had great drink options and cocktails. However, the restaurant service was poor with many mistakes and not good value for money. The food was mediocre compared to the prices, with better options available for half the cost. The staff and management had a poor attitude when mistakes were made, making us feel like we had ordered incorrectly. Management did not handle the situation well, leading to a disappointing evening with numerous errors and a feeling of ingratitude. We will not be returning for food, but may consider stopping by for drinks."

"new is a miserable trottel that always moans. new has thoughts to most things that all delivered in a ton of total misery with a rim of despair on the side. so he gets my money that his miserable is kind. nevs coffee is the best is chester, like its sunday roasts, pizzas, and my comfort court ham and makkaroni croquettes. he also snores for the food. the personal is absolutely divinely probable because they are all fearful of new in fairness."

"came about a few weeks ago for the first time and again today, at both locations was warmly welcomed. in the upper floor there is a beautiful, bright and airy sitting corner with waiter service. excellent selection of fillings for sandwiches, including toasties, salads and drinks. was the first customer in the upper floor at both locations at the beginning of the lunch break and soon filled, the service was fast and accommodating, although very busy. at the first visit of the coffee machine was not ball, this was explained to everyone before they order. so not in the position to have a hot chocolate, but today did and can recommend. this little gem will definitely be a regular place to eat and can recommend to everyone"

"We have been meaning to try Joseph Benjamin for a while now so finally booked a table with ease online. Had a wonderful meal and felt very well looked after by the lovely ladies serving on Friday night. They were all welcoming and friendly upon entering. The reservation request was accommodated for too. Each person who served was knowledgeable about the wine and the food and able to answer every question put to them promptly and with good explanations and accurate descriptions. The soup and bread with it were both deliciously flavourful, the fish was cooked beautifully although as I sometimes do found the langoustine bisque a little on the salty side. The homemade cranberry sorbet was refreshingly tart I am so glad they did not feel the need to overly sweeten it! My partner hugely enjoyed his starter and the ox cheek fell apart perfectly, however we both agreed the brownie desert was a little on the dry side in the absence of any sauce coulis or cream served instead with a beautiful peanut butter icecream and cindertoffee. They all were great flavours but didn't make it look as appealing or help with the overall texture/lubrication of the dish. For us, what was most appreciated was that when a half full bottle of wine embarrassingly was knocked off the table and no fuss made. Two of the waiting on staff very quickly cleared up the mess, without complaint, comment or looks. Thank you at a make or break moment for saving our anniversary meal accidents can happen but how they are dealt with truly shows the calibre of the service, and your reactions speak highly."

"This place is a countryside gem of a pub. The staff are friendly and attentive. The venue is amazing with a lovely, sprawling outdoor garden and patio great for dogs! (Who are also allowed inside woof). And if you ask at the bar, they will give your dog treatos. Nice selection of ales on tap. There's a good range of different items on the menu, although I knocked a star off as the dumplings in broth I had was unbelievably salty... I dined at their sister venue, the architect, the previous day and had the same issue with the risotto there. Other than that I can't fault the Grovsnor at Aldford. And it's nice to have some vegan options that aren't the same, boring things you get everywhere. I can highly recommend walking along the River Dee from Chester to here, it takes about 2 hours each way and the pub in the middle is a great pay off! Vegetarian options: Lots of options Kid friendliness: There is a big park for kids to play on right behind the pub. I think there was a tractor in the pub garden for children to play on too (obviously not a working tractor)."

"We had a great experience at this restaurant! We went for dinner and it was fantastic. Even my husband, who is not vegan, wants to go back when we are in the area again. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to accommodate my daughter's soy intolerance by offering a plain tomato pasta for her. We started with the hummus, adapted with less oil for my daughter, and it was delicious. For our main dishes, we had the crispy sprouts, vegetable gyoza small plates, and the 'lamb' ragu and pumpkin tortellini pastas, all of which were incredibly tasty. We also enjoyed dessert, with the apple dumpling and cookie dough blondie being fantastic. The atmosphere was lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant for its vegetarian options and vegan menu. It is also kid-friendly; we brought our 1.5 year old and they provided a highchair. The staff were friendly with her and accommodated her needs with the menu."

"We love Ring o’ Bells. The food choices are excellent and although I’m veggie, sometimes vegan, I’m always spoiled for choice! Last night we had the fantastic pizza off of 2for1. I had the spinaco which was a great choice, tho for me, I would have liked a bit more spinach! The pizza was cooked to perfection. My partner had the Quatro formaggio (his favourite) and he said it was the best yet!! Service was excellent with food and drinks- lovely house red wine at the correct temperature. A family with children sat by us and though some may have thought they were a little lively at 8pm, we enjoyed their joyful interactions. Thank you once again to the Ring o’ Bells team"

"this place is immaculate. very clean, very clean, they can see into the kitchen when they sit in the ground floor and it is simply beautiful. I was on Monday, so I know it wasn't the busiest that could have been, but the staff ran a very tight ship and I was impressed. my icy latte was very nice, and the avocado toast was also delicious the roasted seeds are a really nice note, add some nuts and crisp. beautiful simple menu, easy to lock or remove any option to make it an eat. only problems are access there are steps to the door, steps to the toilet, and since it is quite small, there is not much space for prms/mobility aids."

"So impressed with The Millstone tonight. The food was excellent as always, but what really made our evening was the fantastic staff. We were there with our children and our grandchildren, so from age 60 to 7 months! Staff couldn't do enough to help and make things perfect for us. They are so thoughtful and kind. All of them full of smiles, warm and friendly, as well as highly efficient. They really made our night and I can't thank them enough. Highly recommend a visit here."
