"Nous sommes venus en weekend à Compiègne, et nous avons passé une soirée aux Ferlempins. La promesse d'une belle soirée a été complètement tenue : une cuisine délicieuse, un accueil et des conseils excellents, et une ambiance juste comme il faut, avec des salles pas trop serrées qui nous ont permis de passer un super moment. Dommage que nous n'habitions pas plus près, nous avons vraiment une énorme envie de soutenir ce couple extrêmement sympathique, compétent et serviable. A recommander sans retenue !"

"Coming as a couple on the evening of Saturday April 13, reservation was limited. Very warm welcome and impeccable service throughout the meal. Price largely consistent with what is served and the setting. "Simple dishes of our terroir, a simple but good cuisine, a simple presentation... short of simplicity with a smiling and warm welcome, a nice decoration with partitioned spaces. A restaurant to spend a good time just steps from the city hotel. The pear was very good: The freshness of the pear, the greediness of the sandy and chocolate, the very little sweet. The Pavlova was also very good, a fresh and not too sweet dessert."

"Nous avons dîné dans ce beau restaurant mon mari et moi hier soir. L’endroit est assez dépaysant pour un moment détente. L’accueil est très chaleureux. Cela faisait longtemps que nous n’avions pas mangé des plats indiens avec autant de saveurs. Les goûts étaient au rendez-vous. Le nan au fromage et à l’ail est superbe. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir. Nous le recommandons vivement. Merci à vous pour votre gentillesse et hospitalité."

"Excellent restaurant ! Nous avons dîné dans celui-ci un samedi soir pour une addition s’élevant à moins de 90€ pour deux, ce qui est très raisonnable au vu de ce que nous avons mangé (2 cevice de saumon en amuses bouches, 2 entrées, 2 dos de lieu noir courgettes poêlées et sauce vierge, 1 pain perdu, 1 mousse au chocolat, 2 nectars de fruits ainsi que 2 cafés . Tout est frais et fait maison, le poisson était cuit à la perfection, et sans arrêtes en prime. Une cuisine simple mais très bien maîtrisée avec beaucoup de goût. Le service était agréable et discret, parfait pour ce type d’établissement chaleureux. Facile de se garer également avec parking juste en face et beaucoup de places gratuites dans les rues avoisinantes. Je recommande, et nous reviendrons à coup sûr avec grand plaisir ! ;"

"J'ai du mal à croire les avis dithyrambiques sur ce restaurant Ne perdez ni votre temps ni votre argent ! On est ici sur de la brasserie prétentieuse, comme trop souvent hélas, on ne déroge pas à la règle de la facilité. Ici on ne joue pas du Piano (de cuisson) mais plus du micro-onde pour réchauffer les plats sans saveurs et fades à souhait. Rien ne semble frais du jour ni cuisiné maison, on repart avec le sentiment d'avoir mangé du Picard surgelé .. Ce n'est pas mauvais c'est très mauvais ! Le service quant à lui est prétentieux et pas du tout à l'écoute de la clientèle ! on se sent même abandonné avant la fin du repas .. Par contre pour encaisser l’addition il y aura du personnel."

"Les crêpes sont plutôt bonnes mais le service est très très long. J 'y suis déjà allée plusieurs fois avec des amis et à chaque fois on est servi après 1h (alors que d 'autres clients viennent après nous sont servis avant nous). Il aurait fallu qu 'on aille réclamer au comptoir pour que notre commande soit enfin prise en compte. Je n 'y retournerai pas. Food: 3"

"Je me suis rendue dans ce café un samedi de 17h à 19h pour lire un livre en compagnie d'une petite bière lorsqu'un des clients s'est montré insistant envers moi. Après l'avoir repoussé, je me suis faite insultée pendant 10 minutes au milieu du bar. J'ai parlé fort pour attirer l'attention mais personne n'est venu m'aider. Le personnel de l'établissement n'a rien dit alors que le client tenait des propos outrageant. Ce client semblait être un habitué. Je comprends que le café cherche à conserver ses fidèles clients mais ça ne devrait pas se faire au détriment du respect et de la sécurité des autres."

"Nicely situated bistro with good food options. Came for lunch and there was fast, friendly service with good food options. Meal came quickly and was fresh out of the kitchen. It's on the corner and so it's well situated for lounging as well. Parking lot available directly across the street (next to the St Jacques Church). Easy walking distance from the Chateau de Compiegne as well."

"reservation made at 7:30 pm, well received (we were two) and well oriented to the choice of wine to glass. "you have relatiw low expectations at restaurants near major tourist attractions such as the chateau de compiègne. so our lunch here, just a few steps from the castle, not only exceeded expectations, it broke away a stereotype of restaurants in tourist places. we were three, plus dog, without reservation, arriving at the top of the lunch hour. we were ready for a cool greeting, but in the fact we were immediately and cordially picked to a table where we were treated as honored guests. eating is excellent; not a false note about three different appetizers, net and desserts. service is timely, but not hastened, and the ambiente is cozy, but not in the class missing. after the amount (our table was the last available), we are not the only fans of the bistrot du cheateu. highly recommended."
