"Buyer beware. I went to check out this place to potentially bring friends later on. Upon entering, I noticed that the restaurant was mostly empty, with only three people at one table. A staff member who seemed rude and possibly under the influence of drugs or just poorly trained in customer service, greeted me. When I tried to order a coffee, it was initially refused, then allowed, but then denied again. I decided to leave as there are plenty of other great dining options in Cookstown with well-trained staff and exceptional food. I cannot recommend a place that portrays itself as something it is not. Just having the name "Italian Restaurant" does not make it so. Arrogance and poor manners are not qualities of an authentic Italian restaurant. Buyer beware."

"We stopped off here for some takeaway as we were both feeling very hungry the reviews on here were mainly very good the place does look extremely clean, so we were feeling very positive and optimistic. However, based on our first last! visit I can truthfully say it was unbelievably disappointing and a total rip off. It cost £24 for two mediocre very skinny cod which were dry overcooked, 2 portions of chips which were soggy not at all either crispy nor golden as some previous reviewers had said they were the potatoes they used were obviously not good at all as a lot of the potatoes/chips were black and this was bound to be obvious to the staff also a portion of onion rings 3 out of 8 which were only batter and contained NO onion! We had to bin most of the food as it really was that poor and having forked out £24 for it I think it’s safe to say we felt extremely disappointed completely ripped off."

"My husband I have ate her on four occasions over the last few months as I was attending the local Charis Centre each visit the food was beautiful Everything is freshly cooked to order there is a great menu with daily specials as well. The food is reasonable good portions the service is great. I love the fresh fish dinner on a Friday just wish I had the opportunity to visit the Courtyard restaurant more often. Jackie the lady who owns it , her daughters staff are so welcoming they have built up a great business serving excellent food I would highly recommend this restaurant. Wish there was a restaurant like this is Newry."

"We are two pensioners and really the food is fabulous and far too much so now when we go we ask for a small dinnerso we have room for desserts and tea and the cost is small too We always get beautiful tasty food and the staff are lovely. The boss is always there too so we are very well looked after. The best place in co Tyrone and we have tried them all. Great parking for us oldies"

"DISGUSTING,Avoid at all costs.You could see and taste the grease on the chips.The open prawn sandwich (at least, that 's what I ordered,what arrived was as far removed from a sandwich as could be imagined,had a small handful of prawns which before I tried to eat I had to remove almost a tub of Marie rose sauce;as for the service where do I start,the tables were dirty ,the food arrived in dribs and drabs and clearly the staff have no idea how to make a flat white.If you are ever tempted to go here DON 'T,walk on by."
