"frankly, I was sceptical when I was quality. pleasantly surprised at service and food. g took a chicken and fried wrap. the fries are home: the kitchen is open on the room ..... we can see the cooks peel the potatoes. very good sandwich and excellent fries. frankly I do not recommend and I do not understand the negative opinions that seem unfounded to me"

"for its proximity to my office and its service quite fast, I have lunch from time to time in this restaurant by ease but not for its brilliant cuisine, far from there. Pizzas are often dried, little garnished, except in cheese, and pasta is usually in a lack of flavor. A restaurant that allows to eat but not to enjoy a good meal and it is a shame because it would probably be a little effort to pass from a banal kitchen to a more pleasant restoration."

"we have enjoyed -20% on the map with "the fork". Very pleasant and warm welcome.Resilient and zen decoration, relaxing atmosphere music. We ate:-A dorade with green curry and coconut milk: very good cooking, perfectly spicy. I could have eaten two of them.- Duck pot: deliciously subtle and hearty.-Riz Parfumée-Sewed fruit: a real fresh fruit salad made of apple, white melon, mango, kiwi and watermelon. Nothing like that to finish this delicious meal. I recommend this restaurant or service, reception and dishes are top."

"I have been having lunch very regularly at the alsace ball for several years and I would like to emphasize the freshness of the dishes prepared in the kitchen, the diversity of the menu, the listening and the kindness of the staff. the fish is perfectly well prepared and the sausage-algot is a must. on the esplanade of defense there are simply no other restaurants offering a better value for money. for quite a few years now i regularly have lunch at the ball d'alsace. the food is fresh, home made, personnel is attentive and kind and the menu offers quite a diversity of French traditional dishes. the fish is perfectly prepared and the sausage aligot is to die for. be sure to note that on the la defense esplanade you not find a better deal."

"very bad sense of customer service! we were a group of 7 and one of the guests was (finally!) served 25 minutes after us! we informed the waitress five minutes after receiving our dishes and she told us that we should have told her earlier! It was almost our fault... since we had to revive them several times to get information because the dish still couldn't...No spontaneous compensation proposal from them when the addition was handed over. the manager said very dryly: "You ate the dish no!? If we had to pay back all unhappy customers, we would close the doors! You should have refused the dish to be refunded" ah forgiveness... so there are many unhappy customers? So after 35 minutes you have to look for another restaurant and eat alone? Finally we had a coffee per person... we refused. The manager clearly had nothing to do with it."

"having to be a regular (if you don't have anything else at your disposal) is not enough for you to be accepted to give you a piece of bread even after having politely asked. We're spitting you out of any way we don't want to give you any bread because you didn't take any salad. No matter if you've taken the most expensive menu. There's not an employee to catch up with the other, they tell you to the chain that fear of creating worries between employees is yours to make a sacrifice. a shame for a food whose spawning is more than questionable, to which is added a doubtful higine in the sense that the servers take your food directly into their hands...Pass your way, they are not worth it"

"Today at lunch time I decided to give this place its 3rd chance to redeem from two previous disastrous experiences and I must say, it failed completely. Every time I go there by myself they seat me in the most hideous and uncomfortable place possible. I usually complain about it and they change me but today I was way too exhausted to do so. They sate me between two big guys. The space left for me was so narrow that even being very small as I am I couldn 't move my arms! It was worst than an Easy-Jet flight, believe me. The Matsuri people have packed the place putting seats so close one from the other that it is really painful and cramped to be there. The food was average but as I was super-hungry I made all kinds of contortions in order to try to eat. At the end, it was so uncomfortable that I gave up. I mentioned this situation to the maitre/cashier and his answer was (typically) that it was my fault because I hadn 't complain and asked to be changed of place. Not analogy, not a sympathetic I see . Just the typical obnoxious and arrogant dismissive I-do-not-care-about-customers response. I had a miso soup (not bad), 4 wet maki and 2 small sushi salmon plus edamame and green tea and paid 17 euros. So, you see, not cheap either. In a nutshell, I do not recommend it unless you are really desperate for mediocre sushi."

"Friendly and rapid service. The food is of excellent quality, but is basic fare Roast Chicken, Steak Portuguese style (i.e. with an egg and prosciutto ham on top , Weiner schnitzel (escalope milanaise (Turkey breast slice in breadcrumbs , nothing fancy. They only have Portuguese wine (but if you know anything about Portuguese wine, you know that's no hardship! , I had the basic house red at 3€10 for a glass, excellent. Coffee is good, too. Main course is 12€ at lunch time, add a couple of euros for starter or dessert. If you are looking for a good feed, but not fancy, then this is it."

"we are really close to the defense esplanade. I had already come to lunch here a long time ago because the place had a good reputation and I had kept a wave of good memory. no terrace, but exposed beams and large air-conditioned room (appreciable in this season.) quiet evening. pastas and other Italian dishes are at the rendezvous. Pizzas are above the average fare. appreciable possibility of additions (egg, cutters, vegetables.) on supplement. without being exceptional in texture and taste, they cover a large plate, with a density of disputable ingredients, but of very good quality. Italian wine is joyous. The welcome is of great kindness. there are probably a few small improvement points to be at the top of the top in the pizzeria category."

"we arrived the first (to 16 people.) and left the last, as one of the waitresses so well pointed out!!! except that's because our dish came after that of all the other customers. However, we had taken a unique menu for everyone to make it simpler! and not a turnover was given to us!In addition to that, the room was not air-conditioned and we all caught a good hot shot.Break, I will not return to it anytime and will instead continue to focus on the eden armor, or the 2 pizzerias around the corner."

"I made an order for a delivery. everything was received in time, but big disappointment on the content: the fried chicken was really very fat and stirring, the vegetables in tiny quantities and in the noodles jumped to beef there were so many ginger (and it was not specified) that I couldn't finish. Only gyosas and cabbage salad were on the rdv. I won't renew the experience. Too bad for having already eaten bentos in other restaurants typically Japanese, the flavors were much finer and worked."
