"What on earth is going on in this restaurant? We waited 15 minutes to be seated at our table despite it being quiet. Staff literally stood behind the bar looking at us but were too busy talking to come over. We were eventually seated and our order was taken. We waited 60 minutes for our food to arrive and when it did the chips were cold and part of our order was wrong. At this stage were that hungry we just ate what had been brought. We then sat with dirty plates for another 35 minutes until eventually I went to find a member of staff to clear the table as we wanted to order desserts. Another 15 mins passed and eventually our dessert order was taken. The pizzas were very good and the burgers were tasty but this is a diner style restaurant not fine dining so I wouldn't expect exceptional food and neither would I expect such a long wait to get food the wait ruined the whole experience. When the desserts finally arrived we had no cutlery to eat them with and had to ask. To be honest the desserts were not worth the wait or the money they are all bought in and what sounded good on the menu certainly underwhelmed us. They had a dime smores cake with fresh cookie dough that sounded amazing but when it came it was a disappointment. We were never asked the entire time if we wanted more drinks and this is how restaurants make money servers should be asking diners if they need more drinks throughout their meal. The restaurant is grubby and the menus are filthy to the point we wouldn't touch 2 of them. This is unacceptable why would you present your diners with dirty menus. The toilets are disgusting and need a good clean if that is on view in the public eye what are the areas such as the kitchen like that you don't see. It definitely isn't worth the money they are charging and the management need to really look at staff training and improve drastically on customer service. There should be no restaurant in this day and age where customers have to wait that long for food and have to physically search for servers. Very poor experience I would not recommend this restaurant."

"We didn’t know this bakery/cafe place existed until last Saturday when we turned up at a food and cider festival in Armagh city centre. We bought some fabulous North Irish Brie style cheese, magnificent local gin and a dozen rhubarb honey cider at the festival. There were a number of talks through the day as part of the festival and the one that we attended had a cheese maker (blessed are the cheese makers) a cider maker (who says he is still trying to perfect apple brandy) and a chef from the Yellow door. We made a point of making the 25 mile journey to try the food in this place today. It’s unremarkably located down a nondescript side street. Three of us dined and we all chose the prawn on wheaten bread and it tasted superb. We were all delighted with our food. I opted for the soup sandwich and picked the celeriac parsnip and it was really superb tasting too. Service was good but the young chap forgot to bring me a knife fork. When I went to pay the bill I decided to try some of the takeaway food I opted for sausage rolls and chocolate eclairs. The sausage rolls and eclairs became supper tonight. They tasted quite good, and were a decent portion size but I’d have preferred had they been better seasoned. The chocolate eclairs tasted rotten really shockingly bad food compared to everything else we had. I’m leaving my review at five star as everything else was so very good but I can’t figure how a place that’s so good with a great chef can produce something so bad."
