"Went there for the first time today with 4 people. We were amazed at how gigantic it was or is there... Starting with heated benches, we've never experienced anything so great, especially now in winter .. Then the incredibly good food from pasta to pizza to tartufo, we tried everything and... We almost fainted from the taste explosions, no joke .. Never experienced such a real Italian, plus the mega lovely and courteous landlady with her lovely son as a waiter, it was a fantastic experience for the whole family, really true . We have found our new regular Italian restaurant and are looking forward to our next visit and to trying all the other great dishes, see you soon dear stars Food and drinks: Excellent Italian, definitely the best in the area around Donaueschingen"

"Without doubt one of the best restaurants I've eaten in staff were very professional whilst being warm friendly and welcoming. The service was superb and the food was fantastic, beautifully cooked and very well presented. The restaurant itself has traditional comfy and welcoming decor...and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The menu is well varied, consisting of a range of gorgeous hearty traditional German fare all perfectly cooked and presented. There is also a range of fabulous deserts but sadly we were just too full! The prices offer immense value for money and I can't recommend this place enough. Really don't miss it"

"what a surprise in the black forest! we thought we would not carve and season away, but found this restaurant and had soou luck, lamb, thunfish, light salat with searettich, risotto with fish and great desserts to taste. the prices are reasonable and the courts simply excellent! every dish is simply perfectly planned and thought out. also the traditional black forests cirschtorte was nice and original served. not a long time here! we were with children and they also had a menu for them and they were thrilled! the service is caring and fast. all so polite and full of rats! not to miss in donaueschingen!"

"Habe bereits mehrfach dort etwas zum Abholen bestellt und bin einfach jedes Mal sehr zufrieden. Super freundlich am Telefon 0bei der Abholung und Essen wirklich super lecker und in angemessenem Zeitrahmen fertig. Absolute Empfehlung. Habe jedoch immer bisher das Gleiche bestellt daher kann ich nichts über die restliche Karte sagen ! Aber wenn das erste Gericht was man bestellt so unfassbar gut ist, will ich das jedes Mal wieder haben "

"we have been more often in the hexenweiher, because we find the atmosphere there very successful and eating over the average. again the steaks were sensational, even the pizza with fresh supplements very good. abg during the overall evaluation this time was due to the service (error, low attention and long waiting times). perhaps this was simply due to the fully occupied local. also the price-performance ratio leads to a decrease: the supplemental salad corresponds to unhigher expectations and the appetizers are also to be assessed economically critical. we will come back next year in the hope in calmer times the quality will increase again."

"We sat a few weeks ago in front of the Braustüble and still like to think back about the good break. The mouthbags were fine cooked, the salad was fresh, great made and very rich, inside, hidden here on the photo, more varieties, plus there was a very good espresso. Although it was hot and full, the staff had friendly overview and everything super managed. A recommended address in Donaueschingen!"

"leider sehr schlechter Service. Auf Nachfragen, wo die Getränke auf der Karte stehen, gab es nur die Antwort, Wir haben halt das übliche wie überall. Es hätte aber eigentlich ne Karte gegeben, auf der Getränke stehen… Essen dauerte weit über eine Stunde, und das Restaurant war mit 5 Tischen eher ruhig besucht. Essen war relativ ok. Ein kleiner grüner Salat für 7 Euro ist arg viel. Mit großem Hunger wird man nicht unbedingt satt. Daher nur 3 Sterne… sehr schade"

"Ein gut besuchter Italiener. Ich habe einen Platz für eine Person an einem größeren Tisch erhalten. Während ich gegessen habe, wurde der Tisch verkleinert, da eine größere Gruppe mit 4 Personen aufgetaucht ist. Ich kann das zum einen natürlich verstehen, zum anderen hätten Sie vorab die Tische entsprechend arrangieren können, damit ich nicht gestört werde und einen Tisch als Ersatz zur Seite stellen. Das war ziemlich ungemütlich. Das Personal ist freundlich, vor allem die junge Dame, die wohl neu im Team war. Der ältere Kellner war etwas ruppig zu ihr. Das fällt auf und sollte sich nicht vor Gästen abspielen. Auf der Karte hätte ich mir etwas mehr Auswahl gewünscht. Die Tagliolini mit Scampis waren gut, mehr aber auch nicht. Die gebratenen Scampis waren etwas hart und ließen sich nur schwer von der Schale entfernen."

"superb! we were on 31.08.2021 at 19.00 a.m. in the Ösch noir and were really thrilled! in particular the personal was of excellent friendliness, which we were not allowed to experience even in the best restaurants in london, new york, madrid etc.! Personally, the service is even more important than eating! I just don't like it if the staff is not friendly! to the happiness goes here top service and great kitchen hand in hand and I assume that the chef in the kitchen appreciates his staff! we had a 7 go menu that was constantly extended by intercourses, so I didn't know when to pay now, because always if I wanted to pay just came a walk. I can't say exactly what we had because I didn't have any glasses and couldn't read the letter on the little table cards. it was all absolutely excellent! I actually wanted to order the dessert again, but did not dare me because I had already become noticeable by an inappropriate interim order and I did not want to fall completely out of the frame among all the distinguished guests. we will definitely come back, please hold them enough brot for my wife and me ready! the brot together with the cheese!"

"that a political event takes place in the bar, where they also get a small selection of means of life, we have a few hours before about the reservation system. we wanted to cancel the table reservation, because we wanted to eat in peace, but then we decided against it. so we can't complain that it was very loud, but the event with the torst free was also interesting. from the cortextar I have promised myself a little more, for example that it was prepared on the table, but perhaps not made because it is only the weinbaar and not the restaurant that they find a pass higher. tastefully it was after my feeling the € 28, it was not worth it. the meat in the burger of my accompaniment was ordered as medium, but to fried. I would have liked to have drunk a quarter of grayburgunder, but there were no one, but a cuvette that was not all my taste and was too expensive with € 12.50. otherwise everything was good, the service was perfect, the waiter was very friendly. overall highly recommended and cozy, but for the above described reasons I give only four instead of five stars."
