"In the midst of all this doom and gloom, my wife and I enjoyed a special anniversary meal at the Bucks Head just days before the latest shutdown of hospitality here. Another memorable, mouth watering meal in one of our favourite restaurants with the best of fine food and wine served in relaxed and comfortable surroundings.A wide ranging three course a la carte menu for just over £30 is exceptional value and we could not have been happier with our various choices, including the cheese and onion tartlet for starters, the melt in the mouth main of delicious Dromara beef followed by a chocolate and cherry fondant to die for all washed down with a wonderful Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.Thanks to Alan and Leiontia for their warm welcome and hospitality .... can't wait for our next visit!"
