"Forsthaus Hotel in Fürth has a lovely setting nestled in the woods, which provides a peaceful escape from city noise. Being surrounded by nature is certainly a highlight, making for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. However, in my opinion, the hotel’s best years are behind it. Although it continues to be expanded, it no longer meets the standards I would expect for a modern, accessible stay. As a wheelchair user, I found navigating the hotel to be quite inconvenient. Reaching my room required taking two different elevators and covering a considerable distance through corridors, which felt like more of a hassle than it should. For anyone with mobility concerns, this layout may be frustrating, especially with luggage. The breakfast offerings, too, seemed to have lost some of their former appeal. While acceptable for a short stay of one or two nights, the quality and variety didn’t match what I had previously experienced at Forsthaus. There are likely more interesting alternatives in the nearby area that offer better value. Another thing to consider is that the early spring weather adds a slight chill to the experience, especially being in a forested area. This might be less of an issue in warmer months, when the natural setting can be better enjoyed. Overall, while Forsthaus offers a charming location, it might not be the best choice for longer stays or for those requiring easier accessibility. I would recommend it for a brief stay if you’re primarily looking for a quiet spot, but with some good alternatives nearby, you might find a better fit elsewhere."

"I've discovered mio mio in the slinger block and I've been driving spontaneously with my friend. parking possibilities right in front of the door. interior decor fabulously beautiful, so warm and family. service has been very nice and friendly. the food was very delicious. Da bekommt man in Fürth bereits für 7,5 Euro höhere Qualität bei gleichem Gericht."

"we have checked this place on a beautiful day so that the sitting area outside is under some beautiful trees, quite romantic. the pizza is good for a German place, although it pretends to be Italian, there was no Italian around, so we could not. try ordering order in Italian; a little strange is that they refuse to give a glass (not a gallon) lead water, mention that they are not allowed to do this. that was a bit irritating to hear that the German direct wise, especially as we obviously consume a lot (of wein and pizza). there are hopefully other places that could be less money but more customers concentrated."

"Verstehe die ganzen guten Bewertungen nicht. Wir haben gestern über Lieferando einen Cheeseburger und einen vegetarischen Burger mit Pommes bestellt. Die Bestellung kam nach 1h. Das Essen war zum Glück trotzdem noch warm. Die Portion der Pommes war groß und die normalen Pommes waren ok. Jedoch leider nicht selbst gemacht, was man bei einem Preis mit Dip von 5,50€ eigentlich erwarten kann. süßkartoffelpommes waren geschmacklich nicht so gut. Genauso wie die Burger leider. die Burger Brötchen waren Fertig Burgerbrötchen aus dem Supermarkt die zudem latschig waren. Und die Patties haben leider auch nach Fertig Patties geschmeckt. Werden nicht mehr dort bestellen oder Essen nicht zu empfehlen."

"Heute Freitag Abend war ich das erste Mal, seit der Betreiber gewechselt hat, mal wieder im Alpha. Wir haben für 19 Uhr reserviert und waren pünktlich. Trotz Reservierung wurde uns unmotiviert in dem halb leeren Lokal ein unschöner Tisch zugewiesen. Unsere Nachfrage zu den ca acht Flaschenweinen brachte die junge Bedienung und die ältere Barbesetzung an den Rand des Wissenstandes. Auch der Lokalbetreiber konnte seine Weine nicht einordnen. Irgendwie fragwürdig. Wir hatten drei Vorspeisen drei Hauptgerichte und einen Nachtisch typische Gerichte bei einem Griechen in Deutschland. Das Essen war grundsätzlich in Ordnung, wenn auch nicht besonders erwähnenswert. Dem gesamten Team fehlt es an Leidenschaft zum Empfangen, Beraten, Bedienen und Kochen. Wir kommen leider nicht wieder. Wir vermissen das Herzblut von früher...."
