"Looking at the other reviews, this place is obviously very popular with German travelers. The hotel itself was clean and the staff very nice and friendly, but this just isn't a hotel in the in the normal way. First off there is no reception, you walk from outside into a massive dining area and bar, tucked in between is a tiny reception area. Once checked in I headed to my room, although the rooms are part of the complex, the stairs are outside and unheated, reminds me of a hostel. The rooms are probably the most basic I have ever stayed in, a double room consisted of two single wooden box beds, the heating was off, no AC, no fridge/mini bar, all channels on TV were in German. I has to turn up the heat to full on the bathroom radiator to warm the bedroom up. The radiator in the bedroom was in a deep alcove behind the curtains. The room had a single desk chair, plus the cheapest table lights i have ever seen, 3 Euros and 40 cents from Ikea (they still had the labels on them) which added to the feel of a hostel. All this luxury for 90 Euros a night! On the plus side the restaurant was quite good, basic food but well done. There was also no visible signs of WiFi on offer, when I inquired I was told I would have to pay a 20 Euro deposit....why??? I dont get it, do they think you are going to steal the wifi? The hotel is advertised as three star but to me felt like two star."

"as they can probably see from my TripAdvisor reports, I want to eat a lot and all over the world. for me it is important that always a great balance between service and the quality of food is. in the meygarten. they have to make their work together on this partitur. a sunny, balmy evening recently spent my party of 4 hungry teenagers and I had a long, gruelling day in the nearby movie park themenpark. we wanted to eat somewhere near, but away from the almost food offerings of hot dogs and such fine culinary delights at such places. as usual, tripadvisor came to rettung. the mey garden seemed like the ideal place to wind and feed these hungry mouths. to the happiness our auto navigation system has found this rather hidden restaurant and we parked on the road near full of joy. there is a large beer garden in the meygarten and one of the lively waiters assured us that we could sit somewhere, so we decided on a large table for 8 diners. was that the trigger for what happened next? Anyway, the menus arrived fast enough and we ordered our first round drinks. our waitress for the evening seemed very stressed, politely unfriendly and cool. juveniles also deserve respect, especially as those with me were quite well at that day. at least the waitress came to our order. she just spit out an unpleasant aura of impatience, which really started to annoy me. in the ordering process, she warned us that eating might come a past that was a joke that I hope it would not take too long when I had some very hungry mouths to feed. that obviously fell on deaf ears. the meal took forever. I was rarely in a restaurant where we had to wait so long. over 90 minutes to wait came the same waitress over to see if everything was in order. I replied that it wasn't and that it was waiting ridiculously exaggerated, for which she suddenly snapped, that she warned us and went in a huff. the children began to be irritated, and saw loudly sarcastic when food was brought out for other guests and at one point threatened to go to the kitchen and help the poor chef who was clearly not copied. Finally, the food arrived and we all agreed that it was delicious. I had a teriyaki hamburger with hot potato wedges that I couldn't finish. the others had carved on different ways served and falafel served on a huge bed salat (including tweepers we had asked not to serve). but at this point we were all tired, fed and wanted to go home. the ironie was that after a day in the movie park we had to wait for the rides, wait for even longer in the mey garden for our eating. next time (but it won't be one) we ask a speedy pass to be properly served. but in the movie park they do not accept credit cards in the meygarten so warn! oh, and to the young waitress who served us, please change your attitude and remember that you are water bottles at the table servierst and there please open."
