"During our vacation in Wildersville, we gave the rental car a rest day... We walked to the train station and drove to Schynige Platte. When we arrived, after the pleasant welcome of the Alpine horn players, we looked to stop for coffee and cake, before going hiking. We sat on the balcony in front of the magical view. The waiter came right away. He saw that there were five of us and in a pleasant way recommended that we move to a better place (also so that we don't block the passage... After that he gave us a number of recommendations and took an order. Within minutes the coffee (excellent and the cakes (excellent we ordered. The waiter, of course, did not forget to check that everything was tasty and in order and as soon as we finished he brought the bill so that we could set off... When we returned from our hiking we had two options, one to get on the train back and eat when we reach the village, or eat again at Restaurant Schynige Platte... With the excellent service and good tastes from the morning the answer was clear... We sat down. The waiter recognized us immediately and was happy that we returned safe and sound : This time we didn't get confused with the menu we ordered two light salad, one Delicious soup in an interesting presentation, and five schnitzel dishes and chips. We added drinks (beers/sprite/cola . The food arrived quickly and in an orderly manner. The waiter and the other employee came by more than once and completed what was missing with a smile and pleasantness. When we finished and paid (including a tip for the excellent service the waiter suggested with a broad smile that we come back for dinner as well, and maybe get a new one at the hotel : Maybe next time when we return to travel in the area... We enjoyed both the view, the food and the service"
