"Was staying locally and looking for a good restaurant but couldn’t really see anything in Guéméné-sur-Scorff so intended to head of Pontivy. However, we decided to drive through Guéméné-sur-Scorff and physically look. On street parking was easy and there are a few restaurants but, at...this time of year, most were closed. We found Aux Sabboits Rouges and decided to give it a go. There are tables outside, tables in the main bar area, a more formal dining area at the rear and a nice little courtyard area at the back (where we sat). The owners and staff were so friendly, the decor and atmosphere first class. The menu was good and, although I could not see vegan options (I see the review here says there are), there were vegetarian options and the young lady serving was very helpful. The quality of the food was first class as well, as was the presentation, and whilst the menu wasn’t traditional French it was excellen. Great bottled beer and wine menu as well. I had their chilli squid which was presented on a mixed salad, with a main of beef madras (so tender and full of flavour). They did amazing burgers, traditional fish and chips, and many more options. Highly recommend this place and would go back again."
