"The exposed location in the Neckar Tower of one of the highest buildings in Heilbronn right on the Neckar, the beautiful large beer garden and the menu broke well, so we let ourselves turn on this beautiful sunny autumn day in the Lehners Wirtshaus. The beautiful beer garden is rustic in the outdoor area with large parasols, which can also be used well during our visit, lots of green around it, the great location on the water a wealthy place. Inside the almost glazed building everything is kept in the modern industrial table with a large counter. In the Lehners a home cooking awaits roasts, steaks, chickens......, Swabian specialties such as mules, lentils and late zle, onion rust roasts and many Bavarian delicacies such as porkshaxe, white sausages, obazda,... also burgers, flame cakes, bowls, cocktails etc. We chose: Blueberry limo many fruits good apricots basilumlimo wonderfully refreshing baked pasta with potato salad consisted of cut chicken frit? and potato salad Naja asparate rib with sweet potato pomer and herbal salad as well as not really warm and also not crispy, how warm the cream. T. was only heated, but this also increased after approx. 10 minutes our food was served by a dead waiter. So we had no need for dessert anymore, wanted to pay quickly because no ambience can compensate a baked food!!! Menu and ambience had better expectations, so we were disappointed by our visit. You shouldn't let yourself be dazzled by the outside impression, it's important what's in it."

"This year's Bundesgartenschau in Heilbronn is only a few days old, but now I want to announce a gastronomic favorite place. At least in terms of the situation – because there is no greater experience yet, but at least there are already first impressions of the well visited Easter weekend. The long-drawn terrain is located directly on the Neckar with its side arms. The restaurant Alte Reederei is centrally located in the area, on the banks of the Alt-Neckar. Celebrity, beautiful, more spectacular it is no longer possible. And the absolute highlight: The place has its own dock, which is regularly served by the shuttle ship "Willy Schneider", which runs between the entrance campus park and the entrance Wohlgelegen, during the entire opening hours between 9 am and 7 pm daily. This circumstance alone already purifies enormous crowds. The rest comes on foot over the terrain – or with the Boller Auto, the Rollator, the E-Scooter. I was on Easter Saturday at 2:00. The well-visited and magnificent view terrace can be seen from the ship. If you want to get a place at this time, you need patience and, if necessary, the use of elbows and strong nerves. For example, further aspirants remain on the railing or on the already circulating flower beds in order to place a free table as quickly as possible. After a short start with two competitors we agree and sit together. Menus are already on all tables, including cutlery and napkins in beer cans. The most popular are the tables in the first row, with direct view of the water and under umbrellas. But even in the second row, it is still quite funny, not so shady. The old shipping company, an ornamental, long-drawn clinker construction, is housed in the former workshop of the Schwaben-Versandgesellschaft, very tired, renovated and styled. Old elements such as the outlet windows or an old ship crane combine harmoniously with new ideas. In good weather, the two terraces entice: one to the front with a view of the water and the boat docks, the other with a view of the garden show and the flowering green. At the summer temperatures and a fine breeze in Easter there is a quite maritime feeling – and with the guests around me it seems to be an extraordinary number of fish heads. Large families are not rare. Two dozen people in a clan are distributed over three tables in front of me. When the places are changed more frequently and reorders are run through, the service personnel are turned completely. Yes, the service is really not to envy. The youthful, sporty serviceman, who often runs continuously, who has the main responsibility in our corner, loses the overview very quickly, but not the intention and good will. Besides constant apologies, he is running on cancellation, clearing, rum. Finally, my bill also contains the drinks of my table neighbours and I have to ask for a new document. Probably there were also some grain trees at this Easter weekend. The old shipping company feels obliged to the Swabian cuisine, while in the early afternoon I mainly saw mules and stray cakes on the side tables. Through the brittle heat, I choose a salad with not quite sponge feta cheese (12.50 euros) and a pepsi (3.50 euros). After 20 minutes the salad is delivered: leaf salads, peppers, tomatoes, feta. Everything is quite taste-neutral and rather fade, so I must quickly ask for pepper and salt. Five minutes later. From the four different dressing variants, I unfortunately choose very pitiful raspberry dressing, in the guess, it would be a Vinaigrette with raspberry vinegar. What then appears looks more like dessert or berry mousse (and tastes like that too). You can spoon as dessert or whistle the baguette in it. Culinary so not so the hit and perhaps the wrong choice. All thin ladies around me leave food all the way and seem to be fed by Aperol Sprizz. It's like a piece of bread. I have to ask three times for the bill, my wish is always in chaos. Anyway, you shouldn't have it here. Since the toilets are distributed loosely on the premises of the BUGA, it is definitely worth a trip to the toilet facilities of the shipping company. They are quite atmospheric in old styles, but are operated eagerly by a specially set toilet woman and regularly refreshed. And be careful with the crib of the water toilet: Please pull carefully!"

"with the service we had luck. a young friendly and competent lady. But that's what it was.Everything, a single catastrophe. it was Sunday, the weather excellent, according to the restaurant almost full. we had a table reserved. already after entering the restaurant, a building with a high deck, we would like to have left the locality in a curse-like manner. the noise level corresponded to that of a fully occupied railway station hall. already at the order we were told that it could take some time to serve; up to 45 minutes. we ordered 4 same salat plate and 1 suppe in advance. that came very fast. the suppenterrine is very small, but for this, it is only half full. (?!) the salat plate seemed superficially identical. but gradually differences were seen. in some cases, kartoffelsalate was submixed; in other gurkensalat. some with buoy and mais, others only buzz or neither, so neither mais. to say and write 1 std. 45 minutes then finally came the mainmenue, among others 1 times woodjack steak with pears and pommes frites. it was plentiful. that was, too. only beans and the pommes fries were warm, the meat was probably warm at some point. Now it was only lukewarm, but dry, tough and almost hard. the menue was edible, but more enjoyable one can eat at such many autobahnraststätte. after almost two hours waiting time, we just wanted to get out. during the cassing we learned from the very friendly service that it always goes on days like Sundays and celebrates. the kitchen is too small and the chefs are not coming. we have thanked each other for the honesty and now know that we will no longer burden this kitchen with our orders. Maybe you can go if there's nothing wrong. then, however, it is probably still the problem that the quality of the food should therefore probably be only undercut. you can take out, sitting on a wooden bench under trees, good a beer and about a bratwurst. you can't do much wrong. but the restaurant, which, as one had heard since the new pächter, should have become much better, only raises the question, how bad for heaven's sake it must have been before, under the old pächter? unimaginable."

"This time we chose this sushi restaurant for our anniversary and we weren't disappointed with the taste. Unfortunately, at the beginning we had to wait a little longer until one of the waitresses accompanied us to our reserved table. It seemed like our reservation wasn't properly honored. Although we were lucky enough to get a seat on the edge, as requested, we were not asked for our name, which gave the impression that the seat was simply given on a first come, first served basis. The restaurant itself is visually very appealing and impresses with a cozy atmosphere, which is underlined by the special play of light. Unfortunately, our dishes were not draped particularly lovingly on the table, but were simply left aside, so we had to distribute them ourselves. Nevertheless, I was thrilled with the square sticks because they fit very well in the hand. I also think giving cutlery is a very good idea, as it means that even inexperienced chopstick eaters can easily use cutlery without having to ask. We both ordered a cocktail to drink and were happy with the selection: the “Pina Colada” and the “Sex in the Jungle” tasted excellent. As a starter we had the “Crispy Sommer”, “Ebi Tempura”, “Tsuki” and “Gyoza”. All of these dishes really impressed us in terms of taste. The “Tom Kha Gai” soup, on the other hand, unfortunately did not suit our taste and was therefore a bit of a disappointment. Our ordered sushi rolls were then served on a pretty platter. We tried the Sake Nigiri, Sake Avocado Maki, Maguro Spicy Maki, Tazuna Roll, Toronto Crunchy and Fuji Crunchy. Overall, the sushi was very tasty, but not quite as outstanding as at our favorite sushi restaurant. My companion found the cucumbers in many of the sushi rolls annoying and couldn't quite get used to the taste. Personally, I particularly enjoyed the “Tazuna Roll” with lots of avocado. The sauces that were spread on the sushi also went well and rounded off the taste perfectly, so I almost didn't have to use soy sauce. At the end I can only say that we had a lovely evening with good food. The service was very friendly and accommodating so much so that he took a souvenir photo of us. We will definitely come back and try other dishes too."
