"During our two week holiday we visited Nordlicht several times. It certainly is a highlight in an otherwise rather dull choice of restaurants. Unfortunately, they are only open Thursday through Sunday, so if you're eating out in or around Hollfeld, you have to find someplace else to go Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Nordlicht is run by a family of Icelanders, so their focus is rather fish. On our previous vacation to the area I had a fish platter which was lovely. However, this time I couldn't get enough of the Scandinavia pizza with salmon, spinach, house sauce and the most amazing pizza dough while my husband favoured the Bacon pizza with, needless to say, lots of bacon, ham and blue cheese....oh, and there is a very lovely homemade garlicky dip that comes with any pizza! As dessert I would recommend the also homemade ice cream, flavours change from day to day. We have only met one of the owners, she and her staff were all extremely nice. Whenever we're back in the area we'll be back at Nordlicht."
