"I visited the Bulstrode Pub in November 2021 while staying overnight in Hounslow before an early morning flight back to the States. A friend recommended the pub, even though they hadn't been there in over 20 years, so I felt it was a bit of a gamble. However, it turned out to be a great choice! The atmosphere was lively but not overcrowded, and I was able to easily secure a table. After enjoying several pale ales and some dishes from the Indian menu, I can confidently say it was an excellent decision. The food was exceptional, and the drinks kept flowing—what more could you ask for?"

"1) Came here the other day because I heard by word of mouth that the food here tastes amazing. I brought my son with me and I'm mentioning this iefor a very specific reason, one which I'll get to later. Firstly, the food was as amazing as it was said to be. I was very pleased and will be cominh back again. Secondly, I couldn't help but read in another review that they wouldn't recommend this place for people with kids. I strongly disagree. When my son made a big mess. These people were more than happy to clean it up. They were pleasant to talk to and were very very welcoming towards my son. Just wanted to put that out there. "good place to try punjabi kitchen in hounslow! the hotel is located directly opposite the hounslow bus station, this place remains open until midnight. it is a kind of hybrid from a fine din and a casual din. as a Pakistani outlet, its famous for its chicken and hammel dishes. there are limited options for vegetarians. I had ordered for saag aloo and roti. the sa was nice, but was miles away from the Indian punjabi sa we received in southhall or chini chor hounslow west. it was finished in 5 minutes, so I think there was a compromise in the process to make it. the waiters were strictly confronted, neutral and not so friendly. they can never expect that the southhall punjabi brotherhood heat everywhere in london. the brotherhood of southhall beats every day the illusionary harley brotherhood . go to lahore karahi when it is late in the night and they are short options. and if they find themselves in the middle of the night hungry, they try ' zam zam 'bäckerei only a few steps away, it remains open in the night catering up to the night "

"I went with my boyfriend for a meal around 21:30 pm, we ordered some chicken and it was ready really quick, so around 21:45 , we had our meals on the table, we were eating and the gentleman at the till came to tell us that they were closing by 22:00 pm, so we started eating very quickly. I did not say anything as I understand they were closing. At 22:00, he said to me: Madam, it 's 22:00 and I said: I am sorry I am finishing as I dont devour food and I cannot finish the whole food in 15 minutes and I questioned him why he did not mention when we ordered the food, otherwise we would not have sat in the table, he said to me: stop eating, you need to go, you should know. So this gentleman assumed that I knew what time the restaurant was closing, I could not finish my meal as I had to leave half on the plate and he was shouting at me. The customer service is extremely poor, If I treat someone like the way he treated me in my job, I would be fired. He has no manners, I do not understand how these kind of people are allowed to work with people. THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTHY AT ALL."

"Over the last 10 15 years Pavillon Rouge was arguably the no.1 Doner Kebab Shop in West London. However over the last few years it has been slowly on the decline. I remember their Doner kebab meat during this time being absolutely exceptional and miles ahead of anyone else 's lamb meat.... but about 3 4 years ago they changed their Doner meat and it went from being this fantastic wafer thin juicy tasting meat to a processed generic meat. People would come just for the meat. I have been back a few times in the last few years, but yesterday was really dissapointing. I went back hoping for improvements but the meat hadn 't changed. What made it worse was my Doner kebab meat was burnt (could of just been a one of to be fair, but was annoying) and what was even worse was how GREASY the whole Doner wrap was and also the packaging was dripping in grease something not associated with Pavillon Rouge.....ever. Super sad times as it looked like the staff honestly was completely oblivious to all this, as they still get people coming in to buy. But for me its not all about quantity, its quality too. I would strongly encourage the owners or staff to give their point of view as I feel like I speak for a good few friends from around the Hounslow area.. Also I find it incredibly unprofessional reading other similar negative reviews and all the Owner can say is 'Thanks for your visit '. Surely you want to improve your business based off loyal honest customer feedback :"

"What a terrible experience!! Stay far away from this place. I mistakenly went in one evening and requested a vodka redbull at the bar. The bartender gave me a strange look and said they don't serve that kind of drink here, as if red bull is some sort of taboo. I then asked for a vodka lemonade and was given a warm, flat lemonade from a 2 liter plastic bottle. This is not how things should be done at all. The pub itself is small, smells bad, and looks outdated. The bar is cramped with too many seats in a small space. There are much better pubs within walking distance that are far superior to this establishment."

"Siracusa is the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. It is situated in a gorgeous location by the Brentford canals. The restaurant has a laid-back and relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for enjoying a meal with friends and family. The food is exceptional; whether I have ordered from the regular menu or the set menu, both have been exquisite. The service is impeccable, and the staff genuinely cares about their customers. "Our waiter Nasir was delightful. My partner, family, and I had a lovely Sunday lunch outing, thanks to his humor and attentiveness. The food was consistently delicious (we ordered a lot, haha). "Warning Disclaimer : The cuisine and food you are about to read about will not be found in traditional Chinese restaurants. . Until a few years back, only India or specifically Mumbai could boast of this cuisine . So when some fellow foodies who have been regulars at this place asked us to join them for a Sunday lunch, the Mumbai in me couldn 't refuse the offer. To beat the chill of the rains, we ordered the chicken manchow soup (garnished with crispy noodles). The first chord with Indianised Chinese had been struck. For the appetizers we ordered the Kung Pao veg (crispy battered veggies tossed with spicy tomato garlic sauce) , Pepper Garlic Prawns and the ever so popular Chicken Lollipops (chicken wings with a twist). Delicious and nostalgic. For the mains we ordered the American Chopsuey (sweet and sour chicken on a bed of fried noodles and fried egg on the top), prawn schezuan and the one single dish that unites many indian Chinese lovers The Chicken Manchurian (boneless chicken tossed in a ginger, garlic, coriander sauce). All this with some very light egg fried rice. It would be an understatement to say that we enjoyed. All through the lunch, we kept reminiscing about how our childhood was shaped by some of these dishes. For those who miss those good old days, make sure you visit Bombay Wok"

"First of all, please do not be misled by the name of this restaurant. There is nothing Lahori about it. They do not even know the difference between a paratha and a roti. They mistakenly referred to a tandoori roti as a paratha. They tried to convince us that this tandoori roti was like nothing we had ever tasted before. We were charged £9.50 for a paneer paratha (tandoori roti) roll. Additionally, the food was extremely spicy. I do not recommend this place if you are looking to eat authentic Pakistani cuisine."

"First thing I noticed when I walked inside was how clean this place was! It’s very light airy too and much larger on the inside than you’d guess from the outside. I got a jacket potato with chilli con carne, it was a huge portion and real homemade chili, not from a can. Really good service. Went back another day and got the beans and cheese jacket potato, I asked for less cheese because I’m on a diet : Staff are so friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. They don’t kick diners out when it’s getting close to 5pm and people were still ordering food at closing time. Good service is clearly number 1 priority at this cafe. Tea tastes amazing and comes in proper cups with real milk."

"A wide range of south indian dishes to choose with. The restaurant is situated perfectly near the bus stops It is small in size but neat and clean though the enviornment inside quite noisy because of the tv screens. "It was shocking and upsetting to see that an ordered placed today by my daughter through Just Eats carried service charges as well as delivery charges. This order was from Flavours of India. I am astonished to know as to how and why Just Eats allowed the said restaurant to charge service charges for orders that are home delivered. On what basis were these charges applied? what service were rendered by the restaurant towards the order other than preparing them? On the contrary, most restaurants charge less for delivered items as compared to dine in service. It is a shame. Either the owner of Flavours of India is ignorant about the reason for this charge Or is taking advantage of its customers. I would appreciate if just eats investigates into this matter and going forward does not allow its partner restaurants to charge unreasonable fees. No business ethics."

"Our favorite place for biryani in West London is conveniently located just outside Hounslow Central tube station. It offers great value for money at GBP3.5 for a serving of chicken biryani with rice. It's perfect for budget travelers as you can eat in and they provide a basin to wash your hands. We will definitely come back when we visit London again. This time, we also tried the Butter Chicken and Naan, which had great flavor and spice, although a bit too salty. They only accept cash, so keep that in mind."

" 1pic, 5 stars love crispy chicken wraps. was upset when I noticed that I ordered grilled instead of crispy. thanks to the lady who gave me the wrap helping me exchange for the crispy chicken wrap. really appreciated it. 5 star for excellent customer service. wrap was fresh 4 pics, 1 star usually good. but not this time, ordered 2 chilli crispy wraps at 12:31 on 9/6/23 order no 16. lettuce not fresh, mysterious creature found in wrap with chilli sauce on it. more details below: I don't noramlly check my wrap, it happened this time cos my mum was complaining about top of her wrap was empty, so I passed mine to her asking if she wants mine instead, mine was full of green lettuce on top before two three bites, thats when I noticed the mysterious creature on the edge of my wrap where I just bit. i took it out like it was no big deal. but i was paying more attention while eating the remaining wrap cos who knows the creature might have a company. and that's how I spotted the unfresh lettuce halfway inside the wrap, i took one out but there's more under, so I unwrapped it to take out all the unfresh lettuce."

"The Black Horse pub restaurant was highly recommended by friends and family who used to frequently dine at the famous ‘Mohindar’s Corner’ restaurant in Nairobi, Kenya. The BH menu is a replica of the fresh and delicious food that was served at ‘Mohindar’s Corner’. Everyone in our large group enjoyed the dishes that were prepared by Toni who used quality ingredients to produce food that were perfectly spiced and simply delightful. The starters and main courses were mouth-watering and appealed to the younger and older members of our party. Toni came around to check on our experience and described how he prepares some of his speciality dishes. I would not recommend going here if you want to eat/drink in a quiet environment but great for an evening out if you fancy authentic Indian food made the East African way in a buzzing atmosphere. We’ll be returning to sample more of the menu."

"This is a difficult one because I am a regular to K&P and have witnessed a gradual decline in what could be a great place. Location great, decor and seating okay, family friendly etc. But... One gets the sense that whoever owns the place is never/rarely there. One or two of the staff are great; smiling, attentive. Too many are surly, inattentive and have that special knack of looking anywhere other than at the tables and diners. And the food is mixed. Breakfast is great. Today’s lunch (jacket potato) was hard and stone cold; so cold it didn’t melt the butter that was on it. This would have/should have been obvious to the staff. But today’s real kicker. It’s around freezing point today, with a bitter wind. And the spring on the door isn’t strong enough to close it. Each time someone entered or left the door remained a good 9” ajar with the bitter wind blasting through. And it’s been like that for ages. Why don’t they fix it? The staff must know because on a few occasions we asked them to close it. In the end I shared door closing duty with a lady from another table who had a young baby she was trying to keep warm. I’m going to give it a miss now until the warmer weather as I’ve suffered lesser versions of this too many times now. If the owner is reading this and wants to make a real go of K&P they just need to be there for a while. Sort out the door, retrain or replace the miserable staff and add a little quality control to the kitchen."
