"We were passing through and actually only wanted to have a coffee during a short break. We found one of the most beautiful locations in Scotland. Extremely tastefully furnished, with a lot of ideas from the owner. Highly recommended. Food drinks: Prepared like in a 5 star restaurant. Absolutely high quality in taste. Service: 5 Location: 5"

"this is one of our favorite hotels in Scotland. had a fabulous night here. the earth is breathtaking! like a state house! big open fire when you come in. traditional decoration throughout. could not appeal to those who want something more modern, but we loved it. we had a magnificent view from our bedroom right down the beautiful gardens. dinner and breakfast great! wonderful friendly staff. fantastic bar with great super selection of fine Scottish whisky "
