"One of the last restaurants and pubs in Kaarst. A traditional farm with seasonal menu. We had goose breast and half a duck with red cabbage and cash. Both very well done. Even when serving, we were told that we can reorder cash and sauce if we are not fed up. It won't take anyone. Prices are reasonable, geese are weighed in gold in 2022. We were very happy."

"14.05.2023 Danke, es war ein sehr schöner Abend. Der Service war sehr freundlich und gut. Die Vorspeisenplatte für zwei war super lecker. Die Hauptgerichte waren schön angerichtet, genau richtig gewürzt und heiß. Pasta Surf and Turf und der Kabeljau mit Parmesan Kartoffelpü waren klasse. Als Nachtisch Toblerone Mousse und das Sorbet, hausgemacht und der krönende Abschluss. Wir wurden zuvorkommend bedient und versorgt. Die Küche hat ein gutes Handwerk gemacht. Die Qualität der Speisen war einwandfrei, es gab keinen Grund über irgendwas zu meckern. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen."

I was very skeptical because we've never eaten tapas before. we were with friends now the first time and we are all excited. we were there on a Friday, all the tables were reserved. "Parkplätze gibt es trotz zentraler Lage reichlich. Die Außenanlagen unddas Gebäude wirken trotz Winter sehr nett, Kerzen weisen den Weg. Innen werden wir freundlich begrüßt, die Einrichtung ist sehr modern und nett, schön ist die hölzerne Tresenanlage und das dezente Licht. Die Getränkekarte ist sehr umfangreiche, sehr gute Biersorten, viele Limonaden. Zu Essen gibt es Flammkuchen oder Suppe. Die Bedienung kommt schnell. Die Flammkuchen sind toll, werden geschnitten auf Holzbrett serviert. Alles ist frisch und sie sind richtig heiß. Besonders geschmeckt haben und der Flammkuchen mit Ziegenkäse, Spinat und Cocktailtomaten, sowie der mitMunsterkäse, Nüssen und Trauben. Leider ist es der Küche offensichtlich nur möglich 2 Flammkuchen auf einmal zu backen. Wir warten gerne, das wure aufgrund der Frische auch in der Karte angekündigt. Aber dass das Essen für uns 6 Personen in 3 Etappen kommt, das hättenwir schon gerne vorher gewusst. Schreibt das doch auch in die Karte! Wenn man es weiß, ist es nicht schlimm, so haben wir uns geärgert."

"Vorab: ich war schon öfters in diesem Restaurant aber dieses mal wurde ich sehr enttäuscht. Sonntag, Tisch für 13:00 Uhr reserviert, angekommen, kein Platz frei. Bedienung geht zu einem Tisch hin und räumt bei einem Pärchen direkt den Tisch auf. Wir haben 2x Mittagsmenü bestellt. Nach 15 Minuten ab der Bestellung kommt direkt die Hauptspeise. Keine Suppe, kein Salat als vorspeise. Mega laute akustik, ich war unzufrieden und fühlte mich nur gestresst. Neben uns wird ein extra Tisch hingestellt, so dass der Durchgang nur noch knapp für eine Person reicht, heißt alle Leute laufen die ganze Zeit in einem hecktischem Schritt an mir vorbei während ich essen möchte. An den Tisch neben uns setzten sich nun 6 personen, haben noch nicht einmal bestellt und Ihnen wird direkt die Suppe serviert. Die Bedienung hat meinen Unmut gemerkt, hat sich auch für die unannehmlichkeit mit einem Brownie als Nachtisch entschuldigt. Fazit: Zu kleines Restaurant für das gefragte Restaurant! Tische viel zu eng gestellt. Viel zu laute Akustik, ich konnte meinen Partner nur schwer am Tisch verstehen. Mega hektisch, Essen kommt viel zu schnell. Ich hatte leider kein Gefühl von einem ruhigen und schönen Essen, so wie man es sich aus einem Restaurant erwünscht."
