But where do you take in a new place where you don't know... So go to Google. The pizza delivery service Al Cappuccino was recommended. However, because of a confusion, I am not at the delivery service “Al Cappuccino” in Kleinostheim, but at the restaurant “Al Cappuccino” outside the place. I was surprised that I was supposed to pick up my pizza myself and not delivered it, but was not at the man, so I agreed to it and made myself on the way to the Hotackerhof, which then turned out to be very remote after a frightened look into the Navi. In the restaurant, however, I learned the reason for the confusion: both restaurants, delivery service and hot gastronomy belong to the same family and were once even a local until they split up. Two Italians with the same name in one place: you have to come first! In the end, I am happy about this confusion, because I found a very great and tasty place that I then deliberately chose to eat with friends. LAGE One thing is clear: You don't get past the hot yard. I have already explained that at the outset. The place is far outside Kleinostheim and has nothing to do with this. Even from the forest settlement located in front of the village, there are just 2 km to the restaurant, which really is located in the no-man's country on a small connecting road towards Karlstein. About 400m away there is the restaurant “Schluchthof”, otherwise there is nothing but the wide meadow grounds and a few hiking trails. But that's exactly what gives the hot yard its special charm. At first glance, the hot yard makes no great impression. A few old houses and buildings on the right and left of the road in a partly less inviting condition, otherwise many cars, which partly also park very close to the road, as there is no large parking lot here. The restaurant itself was probably – at least the name suggests – part of an old farm. It is a relatively inconspicuous little house. On the other hand, the small outdoor seating groups in front of the house and the really successful and beautifully arranged guest terrace on the right of the inn are nice. The Gaststube itself has come a little into the years. It is striking that many wood on ceilings and walls. Nevertheless, everything is beautifully decorated. I liked that the rooms are somewhat angled, so that you can find room very comfortably in small seating areas and not feel like being accommodated in a large, sterile dining room. Another advantage: The many small rooms provide a pleasant quiet atmosphere – ideal for beautiful conversations. There is not much to say about decoration. It's a little decorated, but I didn't see a clear line. The menu offers everything you can expect from an Italian map: pizza, pasta, insalata, a few appetizers, as well as a wide range of fish and meat dishes. The best is a view of the menu that can be viewed online with prices. I think it's nice to find a few dishes in addition to the classics that you don't get anywhere like Carpaccio vom Hirsch, Bruschetta Tonnato or the Pizza Alla Massimo with sheep cheese and tuna. I didn't miss anything on the map. I've always eaten pizza at the hot yard. It was super delicious and very crisp, well seasoned and balanced. A pizza I can only recommend. My friends were also very happy with their noodle dishes. The salad is also delicious. Overall, everything worked fresh and high quality. I find the food very good, so I can only recommend the hot yard. THE PRICE I would describe the prices as moderate to favorable. As so often, you pay relatively much for the drinks compared to the food. This is not a problem of the Hotackerhof, but the general market development. Especially the pizzas, but also the pasta I find very cheap (the pizza costs on average between 7€ and 8.50€, the pasta begins at 7€. The meat dishes start from 10€. For more detailed price information, I recommend the homepage. SERVICE The service in the hot yard is a bit Italian chaotic, but very friendly and good. We were asked about our order by several waiters, but I prefer to be asked too often than not at all. Otherwise you have to appeal to the waiters once in your wishes, but then they react quickly and well. To cleanliness: The toilets were impeccable and also otherwise everything is well maintained and hygienic. FAZIT At the Hoterackerhof you get very good Italian cuisine with a wide selection at a great price. The service is right and the restaurant is very cozy. I recommend the restaurant especially as a finish for walks and hikes, but of course the food is delicious and good even without a previous walk. I've always found a favorite restaurant for me in Kleinostheim.
