"I'll meet early for dinner. service staff very friendly gave me a nice table. drink service fast, clear tables very good eating! I like to make their own food with different sauces. so good there, not sure about the sushi. I know it's hard to win fresh fish like thunfish and salmon in Austria. hot food all well no problems at all. the compliments to the bank speaks very well the local language and has this look. so overall I can recommend this place."

"If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion, Family Reunion or go to a restaurant that is on a level of a Michelin stared Restaurant I highly recommend visiting the restaurant located at Der Unterwirt. Upon entering the restaurant I was immediately made feel very welcome. The restaurant was almost fully seated. I was worried that I would be a able to get a table. My worries subsided and was seated to an amazing table on its own near the kitchen. Honestly I loved my table and the atmosphere was beyond amazing. I ordered my drink and was given plenty of time to look over the menu. My waitress was very professional and so friendly. She explained everything to me due to my very basic German. I placed my order. To my surprise my waitress came out with some special welcoming dishes from the chef. Complimented with some lovely bread in a special bag. The dishes were absolutely amazing and so delicious! I knew that I had found the most amazing restaurant within the first 15 minutes of entering Der Unterwirt. The soup I ordered tasted amazing and was simply delicious. The presentation was off the charts. My next order was a spring roll that centered around utilizing carrots. Honestly no words could describe this decadent appetizer! It was in many ways a touch of European and Asian Fusion combined. I loved every second of this dish. My main course was the Wiener schnitzel. I had obviously had Wiener schnitzel before in quite a few restaurants in Austria. This was above par and French fries to compliment my order were amazing! Perfect portion and presentation was above par. I ended up ordering a Wonderful Austrian Dessert. Similar to a pan cake dish. The dessert tasted amazing! Absolutely Delicious is putting it mildly! I finished my meal with a cappuccino and Baileys. Everyone I encountered at this establishment were all so professional and friendly! Note the building dates back to 1490! So much history! You can tell everyone who works here takes a lot of pride in their work and representing the Family Name. I definitely will be returning to Der Unterwirt in the near future! This establishment rates five stars and more! As stated in the above if you are looking to celebrate a special occasion, family reunion or look for a restaurant that is on the level of a Michelin Starred restaurant look no further! You won't be disappointed! Lastly it should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, lived in the United States Of America for over thirty years and served with the United States Marines all over the world. I definitely know an amazing restaurant from all my life experiences and travels all over the world! A must visit when visiting the Beautiful Village Of Ebbs in Tyrol, Austria."

"Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel stimmt m. E. das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis leider nicht. Was uns zu Beginn sehr gefehlt hat, ist ein freundlicher Empfang. Wir waren schon in vielen Hotels unterwegs. Wer hier eine österreichische Gastfreundlichkeit (z. B. “mit einem lachenden Servus” erwartet, ist hier fehl am Platz. Das gleiche griesgrämige Bild zeigte sich leider auch während unseres Aufenthalts und am Ende. Wenn man andere Bewertungen hier liest, haben die Chefin Angestellte nicht nur bei uns einen schlechten Tag gehabt. Zimmer: Comfort Doppelzimmer war sehr klein. Die Dusche winzig. Frühstück: Die Brötchen beim Frühstück waren sehr weich und überhaupt nicht knusprig. Haben sehr fad geschmeckt. Man wurde gefühlt um 10:00 Uhr vom Frühstücksraum “ rausgeschmissen”. Jedenfalls kam das uns so vor. Eine gewisse Kulanz sollte in einem 4 Sterne Hotel drin sein. Der Kaffee musste man sich selber vom Automaten holen. Das kennen wir von einem 4 Sterne Hotel auch anders."

"Wir waren mit unserer Familie dort 10 Personen). Die Reservierung hat hervorragend und unkompliziert geklappt. Unsere Mutter ist im Rollstuhl und es wurde uns sofort geholfen über die 2 Stufen zu kommen. Auch beim Essen wurde sehr auf die Beeinträchtigung meiner Mama geachtet und das Essen wurde in mundgerechte Stücke serviert. sowas zuvorkommendes haben wir noch nie erlebt) Das Essen selbst war sehr lecker und wurde auch sehr schnell serviert. Das Personal sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht. die Gläser wurden nie leer) . Wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder."

"Buffet mit Qualität. Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht, normalerweise gibt es bei einem Buffet immer Große Tröge mit schlechtem, aber vielem Essen. Aber anders hier, wenige aber super Frische Essen, sehr geschmackvoll, am Grill kann man verschiedene Soßen mit einer farbigen Klammer auswählen. Das Essen wird dann zum Tisch gebracht. Man isst natürlich etwas mehr als bei einem Menü, aber es war alles prima."

"the hotel is located directly on a busy location. accordingly it is loud in the area to the street as well as in the beer garden. directly opposite is the church, the ebbsér dom, which makes use of its right of bell-stained yellow in the early morning at 6:00. This does not have to be disturbed, but it can interrupt sleep. Of course, you cannot put on the same scale as in another four-star house at a landhotel. on the other hand, the guest at 130,00 € /day for the double room may also expect a certain superior standard. "Haben dort auf der Terrasse gesessen und wurden dort von den jungen freundlichen Bedienungen sehr gut umsorgt...fanden den Service top...jedoch wurde eine Bedienung direkt mal von einer dort sitzenden Dame zurecht gewiesen ( wir dachten zuerst sie wäre auch ein Gast, stellte sich jedoch später als Chefin heraus) ....später bekamen wir eine weitere solche Situation mit....wir fanden es unmöglich so vor den Gästen mit dem Personal umzugehen bzw. überhaupt mit einem Menschen so herablassend zu sprechen....dieses Café werden wir mit Sicherheit nicht mehr betreten....und an die Mädels: " Ihr habt alles mehr als richtig gemacht""

"Andrea was a wonderful waitress. We had children and a dog, all were made welcome including our huge double pusher. The service was excellent and so were our meals. Mayonaise, mustards and sauces on the table. The setting amongst the indoor trees was very modern and fun. We were there for lunch but there is a bar and I think that would be a fun place at night. Lots of seating but very well positioned do all tables fell reasonably private. Great menus. Pencils and coloring books available for children. Great location next to the river and overlooking the old lane."
