"I have been to the Horseshoe many times over the past 15 or so years, and it is always cosy and the staff hospitable. I last went in November to celebrate my husband's birthday with his family, and it was amazing. The pub had changed hands since I last visited, and it was just as cosy and wonderful. It was one of the first cold days in November when we visited, so the fire was a welcome sight. The food was delicious, and the staff were welcoming, kind, and attentive to us throughout our time there. Thank you, and we will definitely be visiting again soon! P.S. Try the French onion soup (if on the menu). It was delicious.. Dietary restrictions: I have a severe nut allergy, and the staff member who took our order checked and double-checked the food I had ordered to make sure that there were no nut traces, etc. I was very grateful, and I was able to enjoy my meal without feeling anxious about having an allergic reaction because of said staff members' thoroughness.
