"If you have a beach holiday in Le Barcares, this is the only place you need on the whole coast. Easy to find between the Lydia (a large boat also worth a visit) and the sea with a massive parking just along there and find sun loungers and shades, a great restaurant with excellent food, clean loos and a bar. The staff is friendly and helpful and once you have been there once you are attached. It looks like any other beach bar from outside, but not from this place is the business."

"what an amazing discovery! we were here only for the day, but wish we could stay longer and enjoy this restaurant again. we received the warmest greeting at the arrival and although our friends delayed and late for our reservation we were told that...it was good, and offered a punsch while we waited (what is delicious) eating was fantastic, 3 seafood cellars and my friend had the fish of the day. we were even with singing and dancing from our beautiful host, as well as a demonstration on various due to wear a sarong. (my man helped with a model) great eating, great fun, beautiful people! Five stars!"

"We had a great time in this restaurant. We have 2 young boys very dynamic. The person who served us was great with them and a patient! Thank you. This sympathy with these delicious dishes, allowed us to enjoy a pleasant moment. Even the glasses for the children are well thought out... that didn't have the grenadine or the fruit juice spilled on the table. Here no problem with the cactus glass that closes! This restaurant that is not by the sea, is absolutely worth a visit!"

"we went to barcarès for a week's holiday, and after several restaurants tested, it's the best we made of our entire stay! The staff is adorable, always smiling, either the boss or his daughters! the wait is very correct for the quality of the products and the world (always full), some comments saying that the contrary are totally incomprehensible! the dishes are tasty, among all those we have been able to test, special mention for the foie gras that is one of the best I could taste! prices are also very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the plate. bravo to you for your work, thank you very much for these good moments, we will return with great pleasure during our next stays"

"Very good value for money. Limited choice, but it leads to the freshness of the ingredients. Some tables (may) have given the impression that they have waited too long. It wasn’t our case and I’m surprised at this reaction because the room like the kitchen/plonge/bar don’t put beads. For a quick (or not) done well I recommend. Did not taste pizza but it seemed serious."

"Magnificent setting, nicely decorated, outdoors (bring a little wool in case of wind even if blankets are available) the cuisine is homemade and by someone who likes to cook. It tastes good. The service is a little slow despite the availability of the servers when called. Positively surprised by the cuisine but the setting means that the bill is ultimately a little expensive. We will still come back next season to discover the new culinary offerings."

"Un patron désagréable qui déambule dans les allées, des plats minables (même mac do est un gastro à côté), une employée de bar qui pose la serviette qui sert à essuyer les verres sur ses cheveux autour de son cou, pas de sel ni poivre, pas de beurre avec les huîtres, une pause de 15 mn imposée en plein milieu du repas car les employés ont droit à une pause pour regarder le feu d'artifice, des serveurs qui n'ont aucune organisation et servent à la fois dedans et dehors, un qui nous place, un autre qui prend la commande, un autre qui nous sert, un autre qui nous donne une bouteille d'eau, bref c'est le bordel ici, ne vous faites pas avoir !!! 2 tables se sont enfuies après 30 mn d'attente, on aurait dû faire pareil... ici on ne mange pas, on bouffe !!!! Allez dans un snack vous en aurez pour votre argent au moins !Je n'ai jamais vu un endroit aussi minable !!!"

"We came upon this beach bar/restaurant visiting the beach during the morning and decided to give it a try for dinner. 4 adults (one vegetarian), 2 fussy teenagers and 2 under 3's all enjoyed our meals.Very welcoming chef/owner (?) and waitresses welcomed us to our table following an easy telephone booking (my French skills being only basic).Play table for youngest children to sit and draw at was welcome to keep them entertained whilst we ordered.Nachos and salsa / guacamole to start, extra nachos needed for our children in particular, recommend a portion per person if you have a good appetite. All delicious and devoured in full. Main courses, chicken tacos (soft home made wraps - in uk often referred to genetically as fajitas) for the older ones, enchiladas for the youngsters, veggie enchilada for my sister in law, beef tacos and the assorted tasting plates for the rest of us.Food declared delicious by all (especially good for our veggie) and nothing much left on any plates even by the children.Selection of beers, some Mexican, in our view fairly expensive at 4.50 euro per 330ml. Heineken 3 euro per 250ml. We English like to enjoy a few beers with spicy food! Carafe house wine 12 euro.Puddings simple ice cream boules, a Meccan sponge pudding, all enjoyed.Great friendly service throughout, great Mexican food. Covered a wide variety of tastes and preferences. I'm sure we will be back during this holiday and recommend you give this a try if you like Mexican food and are looking for an enjoyable stress free dining experience and are fed up with Chips.PS Recommendation to owners, give the windows / screens a wash down and let your customers really enjoy those amazing sea views you have."
