"If you want to experience a true taste of France with delightful food and a warm welcome then try Chez Marinette. No menu and not much English, so bring your phrase book and a warm smile. We ate in the front dining room and were provided with a delicious home made lunch of melon, salad, saucisson, roast chicken, potatoes dauphinoise followed by cheese, cherry cake and fresh strawberries. All washed down with a bottle (or two) of the local rose from the vignoble down the road. A pretty village with beautiful views over the Lot valley gives you a good excuse to walk some of it off. If you fancy walking further, like we did then take the PR14 path to La Mas and back. Tres bon!You need to book in advance. Our bill for three people with 2 bottles of wine, coffee and 4 courses came to €100."
