"I visit this restaurant several times each year when I am in the area, because many things including the location and the service are consistently good. This was my first visit this year, and I was disappointed to find that the 2019 food menu looks...identical to the 2018 menu, so no innovative and inspirational changes there then. However, the wine menu has changed because the prices have all increased. Visitors should be aware that the cheapest bottle of red wine (Syrah/Grenache from local vineyard Jordy) is 24 euros, yes that's twenty four euros for a bottle you can buy in the supermarket for 3 or 4 euros, last year the same bottle was 19 euros which was still excessive. I know a restaurant needs to make a profit but a 600% mark-up for wine? Also the cutlery (knives and forks etc) are such a triumph of style over substance that ever time you release the grip on the fork it wants to roll over on its side! I hope these little issues can be addressed because the food is usually very nice, there is a lot that is good with this restaurant too."
