"The Sportsman Inn is located in the center of Ivybridge, making it an ideal starting point for walking the Dartmoor or Two Moors Way. The pub was lovely, with excellent homecooked food, a good selection of beers, and extremely friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent as well. I especially enjoyed the buttered kippers and creamy porridge for breakfast. However, my room was basic and, in my opinion, a bit overpriced. It faced the street and got quite noisy with cars passing by. It also got hot and stuffy in the summer weather. Additionally, the water pressure in the showers was very low, and my bathroom kept filling up with food smells from the pub kitchen. On the positive side, the WiFi was excellent."
