"Could not resist the kerb-advertised moules du bouchot from Normandy. They were wonderful, a huge mussel-pot of beautifully cooked shellfish - I chose "Ch'Ti" with a hint of maroilles cheese and the usual bits of soft onion. Flemish style bread (thin slices) & butter and a decent plate of good chips made a lovely meal. Rounded it off with cafe gourmand - nice size cup of very good coffee, raspberry cream, two lovely moist muffins (chocolate, blueberry) & a square of chocolate. They get busy - might be a good idea to book on Thursdays, Ardres market day. Meat comes from the neighbouring wonderful butcher, closed 1-3pm, & fish from local boats."
