"To the restaurant: The location above the workshop is great. Beautiful views over Limburg, large terrace and the furnishings are modern and timeless. Service: The service was, through the bank, friendly, competent and always careful to keep the evening as beautiful as possible. Everyone knew what was served and what wine fits, how it tastes where it comes from. The food: Sensationell! The menu cannot be described differently. There is a menu consisting of 4 courses. It can be extended as desired to 8 courses (for a fee). There is a wine tasting on request (surcharge). Sommelière knows exactly what wine it serves. The sections are of ideal size and come at very good distances. All in all, it was a very nice evening with really excellent food. Price: This is a star restaurant (1 Michelin stars). The price is appropriate for food from my point of view. The 4-speed menu costs 85, €. Each additional gear wheel 15, € in addition. The wine tasting tour also costs extra. That means at the end of the evening it becomes more expensive than in a normal restaurant. For this you will get a culinary journey of the extra class!"

"I love this place. The food is always made fresh, no premade or frozen sauces. If you have particular wishes, like asking for the sauce to be made dairy free, they will accommodate you. There is a good variety of dishes, and every single one...I've tried so far has been excellent. I recommend the chicken or lamb jalfrezi. The staff are very friendly, the restaurant is clean and comfortable. A full five stars."

"Die Lage des Restaurants ist nicht gerade viel versprechend, direkt an der Hauptstraße. Aber der erste Blick auf die Karte macht Lust auf den Besuch. Natürlich gibt der Name des Restaurants eine Zielrichtung vor. Der recht kleine Gastraum ist optimal genutzt, im bistroähnlichen Stil sind die Entfernungen zum Nachbarn nicht üppig. Zur Einstimmung werden erstaunlich viele Drinks in völlig unterschiedlicher Richtung angeboten - mein Favorit: Sanddorn-Spritz. Voll im Geschmack, wegen der Beigabe von Mineralwasser auch kein "no-go" für den Autofahrer.Der erste KNALLER war für mich der Tafelspitzsud mit Fleischeinlage und hausmacher Markklösschen - äußerst aromatisch!Die Auswahl danach ist sehr groß und variantenreich. Zusätzlich zur schon erfreulichen "Normalkarte" gibt es eine Menüempfehlung für jeden Tag der Woche, und zusätzlich noch ein 2-Gang-Menü mit Wasser und Espresso - ein schlichtweg überragendes Angebot zum guten Preis. Die Rinderroulade von der "Normalkarte" war sehr schmackhaft, wurde als Turmbau präsentiert: unten Kartoffel-Selleriepüree (letzterer Geschmack war zart unterdrückt), darüber die schön gefüllte Roulade mit gutem Ausmaß zum Sattessen, darüber kaltes Gemüse, überwiegend Salat. Wird dieses nach dem Servieren der (auch) optischen Köstlichkeit anders drapiert, schadet es nicht. Und: auf Wunsch gab es eine stattliche Portion der sehr leckeren Rotweinsauce nach!Der Service ist flott und freundlich.Auswahl offener Weine sehr ansprechend, als Bier das Super-KÖPI!"

"Die Pizza ist immer hervorragend, da gibt es absolut nichts auszusetzen! Teig schön knusprig und trotzdem locker und die Beläge immer frisch und top (ich habe schon viele verschiedene Pizzen probiert, somit bezieht sich die Bewertung nicht nur auf eine Salami Pizza).Die Salate sind ebenfalls super und sehr frisch, zu den Nudeln kann ich eher weniger sagen, da ich hier vor langer Zeit mal welche hatte.Der Gastraum ist nicht der Schönste aber trotzdem sehr gemütlich und draußen sitzt man super! Sehr gut zu Abholung, leider keine Lieferung / Pizza Taxi.Trotzdem 100% zu empfehlen!"

"Eine schöne Location in der Limburger Altstadt mit tollem Außenbereich mitten auf dem historischen Kornmarkt. Hier kann man wunderschön sitzen und verweilen. Einfach toll...Die Auswahl der Speisen / Snacks ist klein aber fein, vollkommen ausreichend für diese Location.Auch die Getränkekarte hat eine tolle Auswahl mit einigen selbstgemachten Limonaden wie z.B. Holunderblüte, Minze, oder Zitrone. Die Gin-Auswahl ist sehr gut von Standards wie Tanqueray oder Beefeater (an diesem Tage nicht verfügbar) bis hin zu der gehobeneren Klasse wie der Schwarzwald Gin Monkey 47 gibt es hier eine feine Auswahl. Der letztgenannte wird dann auch professionell nicht mit Schweppes sondern mit Fever-Tree Indian Tonic serviert.Die Preise sind komplett im Ordnung!Die Bedienung war ebenfalls freundlich und gut.Wermutstropfen für mich persönlich (gesungen): "Es gibt kein Bier im Meloni">> Eine kleine aber feine Auswahl an Craft-Bieren würden dieser Location den fünften Stern bescheren. Fazit: Sehr zu empfehlen!"

"We were here a few months ago and the owner and the staff were very friendly (and even gave us a tour through the wine cellar). The room was small, but was nice, clean and sufficient. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but it was very charming. The only thing that was not so beautiful was the opening hours on Saturday and we had to wait until the restaurant was opened before we could get our key."

"Had lunch for two. Very cozy Indian interior. Friendly service. There is the normal menu and a reasonably priced lunch menu. We chose a cup of Masala Chai (delicious sweet black tea with spices and cream) and a vegetarian dish Karahi Sabji, mixed vegetables in a spicy sauce, rice and flatbread. We went to the restaurant when they asked us. they work with layers. after the table was for other people. surprise. our table was not ready. we had to wait for min. the waiter was very rude to us. one of us was not sure what she wants to eat and he told her she had to hurry. he made mistakes by noticeing our order. I have the wrong food on my birthday. by asking after dessert, he said to one of our children that they no longer make apfel strudel for him, because it took long to make it. dear restaurant, I don't ask for free drinks as it was my birthday, I just want to have a good time. "we have recently taken a trip to limburg and, as a result, we have also sought to return sometime. on recommendation from well-known we chose the upper mill and we can say we were surprised. This is located about 5 to 10 minutes from the center of town and is also good for strangers to find.The upper mill is idyllic on the lahn and has a working mill which also ran. after which we had taken place on the stall, it pours 2 where we were the running mill wheel also not so loud to hear. for eating we had on the one hand sülze with remouladen sauce and frying potatoes.And a Mediterranean sweet pan both tasted us well and recommended. the kitchen is well offered bourgeois small meals up to normal haup meal times. the prices are at 7.90€ for the for example hand cheese with music up to carving with 12.90€ with reference to wise 13.90€ depending on the type of sose des carvings which are included in the price.The service is nice and attentive,so that it does nothing to complain here. we were very satisfied overall, and from that this is definitely recommended locally."

"we visited the restaurant schnitzels on two places. in the garden area were 2 4 tables standing next to each other,) we put ourselves on the free table. a family with a child sat in the neighboring table. on whose table a little sarg reserved with the inscription. shortly after we had taken a place, an operation came that kindly distributed us over the menu and said it was back for us. it didn't take long, there were 2 new guests with a dog. After the service had spoken to the guests, she came to us and said that we had to clean our table, as the guests with dog had reserved the table. to my question, why this was not told us from the beginning, we have to answer: we do not provide reservation cards. I could only point to the reservation mark on the side. then the answer of the service came immediately: yes there they see that the table is reserved. Yes, I said that I also see that the table is reserved, we sit on the side table. we have the answer: but as they see, the tables stand side by side and therefore the resevation is tables for both, and they also did not ask me if they could sit there. to my understanding, at the beginning she greeted us kindly at the table and brought us the menu, she went with the words: they could go in, should go into the natives.) we did not! "Schon 2x passiert, bei einer bestellten Pizza einfach ein Belag weggelassen. Auf Nachfrage: es war nicht vorrätig ! Gut kann passieren! ABER! Er hat den vollen PREIS abkassiert. Es wurde aber auch bei der Lieferung nicht erwähnt. Erst als wir essen wollten ist es natürlich aufgefallen. Wir haben einen großen Bekanntenkreis uns über diesen Vorfall unterhalten. Es ist auch bei anderen schon passiert. Ärgert mich sehr. Sind nun auch schon öfters mal nach Eschhofen zur Pizzeria gefahren u.dort abgeholt. Geht auch und schmeckt wie immer SUPER..."

Geschmacklich ist es sehr gut und die Portionen sind wirklich ordentlich. Hier bekommt man noch was für sein Geld. Einziges Manko ist das die Kellner nicht so schnell und aufmerksam sind so dass man schon mal eine Weile ohne Getränke sein kann. Sauberkeit an den dekorativen Wand/Lichtleisten könnte besser sein, hier sind schon mal ein paar Spinnenweben. Aber alles in allem kann man das Restaurant vorbehaltlos empfehlen, ich werde definitiv wieder hin gehen"

Before I start with the review, I'd like to note that a reservation of a table is highly recommended. The restaurnant is located in one of...the old timbered houses and radiates cosyness and appealed warmth. This impression is continued when you enter the restaurant: much wood inside with original atmosphere. The menu provides much options ranging from a variety of starters via main courses that are based mainly on pork to nice deserts. The food is well conservative in its best sense. There are even offers for kids providing the usual food... The service is fast and has a pleasing manner and it did not take too long waiting for the food. The prices are very reasonable. All in all, this was a great experience and we will come back!"

"As we know the L’Osteria from Hanover, we are on the way through Friday night we arrived here.
